That was great Maddie! Love your shopping trip highlights. You need some dinner foods. It would help alot if you also told us the equivalent in US dollars so we don't have to do the $ conversion. The sun was actually out and the shots of the city were wonderful. Looking forward to more shopping trip highlights.
yay! your shopping trip highlights were pretty funny. i studied abroad in england as well... boots (along w many other places) always have fresh sandwiches (like the one you got) but lunch deals like 3 pounds 50 for a sandwhich drink and chips(crisps)... always have a good amount of veg. options! lifesavers, and really easy to grab and go.
you have to try all the sweets in london. i have family in england and scotland but i live in nj and the candy over there is amazing as well as irn bru (must try it if you like soda) but honestly try anything blackcurrent flavor especially chewits, malteasers, smarties, drumsticks, moams, fruit pastels, fruit salads, buttons, any kind of haribo gummy and any kind of cadbury's chocolate OOHHH and walkers crisps over there are 100x better than the states
being a vegetarian, maybe you'll find some good curry houses to take your meals at in london. though, according to gordon ramsay, the indian food in england suck, blandified for the english palate. you may want to try the "happy cow" website for vegetarian restaurants in london. maybe you can find some economical ones...
Thanks for sharing,Maddie. You'll get used to the different foods and what they are and you'll be fine. Keep us up to date! I'd love to see London someday. Just not during this lifetime...I want to stay in the good old USA for as long as I can.
Haha here's a little tip with the 'preserves' thing. What yanks call Jelly, we call Jam, and what yanks call Jello, we call Jelly. You should find something similar in the jams and preserves aisle. If you think Tescos is good, wait till you find an Asda. It's like Tesco, only even cheaper! And Muller Lights are yoghurt, but you have to try what we have called Petit-Filous, it's even better than normal yoghurts and dirt cheap! Lol at me with my essential yogurt and jam advice...

Preserves have chunks of fruit in it. It would work like jam except for the chunks.
