  • I see a lot of people talking shit about how he is throwing the ball. I mean if you read up on the ball it clearly says for dry lanes. Why would play a straight line for dry lanes, which will force you to take a lot of hand out the ball. Me personally when the lanes are dry I'm more to the left. Its not about how hard you can hook the ball, but getting that ball to knock all 10 down ;-)

  • u r absolutely dumb. ur trying to make it hook back to the pocket... move right and let the ball do the work and stop flicking ur head like ur getting raped by a bear. and straighten ur hips. ur completely sideways

  • your a tard. all you care about is throwing a big hook. i throw my natural straight up first arrow. its not supposed to be thrown like that. its meant for an outside line. your retarded and thats all there is to it

  • i got my natural 4 weeks now and i must say i have the best result on our house shot playing between 15 & 20 th board for target and breakpoint between 9 & 12 th board

i tried playing first and second arrow but i don't get the same reaction twice and when i'm deeper inside i get way more consistent shots and i got plenty of pin reaction

  • what's the name of this song

  • probly shouldnt have reviewed this ball if your gonna throw it like its reactive. in case you havent realized it is urethane and urethane probly wasnt meant to be layed down on 30 to 10 on a house shot. just a thought

  • this is not the kind of music you should be listening to while you bowl or even watching bowling, _PS Ive seen people in wheel chairs who have a better style than you

  • you are stupid not to throw this ball staright up that is its main puropse so high rev players can have a ball to play straight up with besides half of these strikes are garbage and are all luck and carry

  • @Taz86...i agree with what you have stated, and if you would have read my comment, you would see that i stated "up first arrow is fine DEPENDING ON THE PATTERN" A reverse block "house shot" is pretty much a thing of the past although i suppose there are still a few places out there that will use them. The likelihood of anywhere using it as their regular everyday house shot are pretty rare though.

  • loving the Ebonite shirt on a Storm review :)

  • that lane must carry everything if that kid averages 210 haha

  • move right with this ball, man. the carry goes way down when you play more inside with this ball.

  • @10InThePitBowler

except that you play the lanes where there's friction. if the friction on this guy's house shot is inside, which it looks to be, then moving right does you no good. a bowling ball can only hook when it encounters friction. no friction outside = no hook.

"house shot" doesn't always mean a wall right of 10. a reverse block is a house shot. this looks like something similar.

  • idk whats gayer the music or this kid

  • Really even if my average ball speed is 17.5 mph? My pro shop told me it would be perfect for me especially now that he knows my pap lol

  • I have to agree, not really a ball you would throw over 2nd arrow, but up first arrow is fine depending on the pattern. This ball will hook, and much sooner than most you've probably thrown lately.

  • @HDRider2002

except when there's no friction that far right, no ball is making the turn. bowling balls require friction to hook, the friction looks to be inside on this particular shot.

i love how everyone thinks every house shot has friction for days outside 10....that's not the case.

  • Well I only throw storm and i'm pretty sure that the natural wont over hook with me because I don't have a 500+ rev rated and I can just get a layout to go long. I only want this ball to improve my accuracy idc about the score. I just want to improve especially when I throw it on oily lanes I plan on throwing it there. I just want 10 straight not 9 or 8 or 11 just 10

  • Well I only play on a house shot and I really wanna practice accuracy. And what I want is if I miss my spot wide out I want it to stay out thats why I was thinking about the urethane ball.

  • honestly this kid cant bowl... but to answer your question this is not a good urethane ball to use up second arrow. this bloody thing hooks but thats partially due to my insane rev rate. if you want a second arrow shot i might go with the slate blue gargoyle from visionary (favorite ball ever) or the ogre urethane. the slate blue hits like a bloody truck and its controllable. with a 500+ rev rate i am able to play straight up between 2nd and 3rd. any other questions feel free to ask.

  • @spazmatron1

i just said it to two other people. you play the lanes where the shot dictates. everybody keeps saying "move right, play up first arrow". WRONG. if there's no friction that far right, the ball is just going to skid.

the scientific properties of bowling tell us that a bowling ball must encounter friction to hook. the friction on this shot is inside, as you should clearly be able to see. moving right would be futile. for all you know there would be an out of bounds right of 8....

  • rnjsproshop's I have a question for the storm natural. Do you think it is a very good ball for practicing consistent 2nd arrow straight? Because i was thinking about getting it just to improve so what do you think?

  • you can take anyball and throw 2nd arrow straight...just like other balls its not always gonna come back and hit the pocket...or might not hold up

  • anybody other than me notice that his shirt says Ebonite bowl 2 win and he is throwing a Storm ball

  • who cares.

  • Not a bad video... Just trying to find some clips of the Natural. I just have one suggestion for Josh. I'm sure you're a good bowler by your posted average but why to you try to over hit the ball? I'm sure you'd have plenty of hand and way more control if you just let the ball go on the bottom of your swing.

  • i never said i was bowlign on the shark with a virtual gravity??

  • wat song is this called

  • fallin by iration

  • Just got this ball. Its great.Hooks and sets in the pocket.Storm did a great job on this ball.A urethane ball that hits hard like every storm ball.A great ball for medium to light oil. This ball hits like a truck.

  • just try Natural today

    like it

as I expect, good for short oil or dry lan for high rev player to avoid ball roll out

    good ball

  • The way he playes with a urethane ball is a joke

  • why is it a joke? we have different lane conditions here in the states. it's a urethane ball with a dynamic core, so it's going to hook more than your average urethane piece.

i have a LOT more hand than this kid, so i probably would've been even further left.

  • Look how it hits the pins now go to my vids and look how the top of europe play with it and now look at the diffrence how it smash the pins. And i'm sure he has more hand then you my friend, but the diffrence is he can bowl and know how to play the lanes

  • Comment removed

  • excuse me you fucking idiot? i can bowl and i know more about lane play on AMERICAN conditions than you will ever know you dumb shit.

i don't CARE how the "top of europe" use a particular ball, because i don't bowl on european lane conditions. i'm in America. it doesn't matter how hard a ball hits as long as all the many variables are correct.

for the conditions that i bowl on, which are VERY dry as are most centers in America lately, i'd be further left with the natural. go suck.

  • lol

  • a little hostile aren't we?

  • the dude is a moron. he thinks because he bowls for team foreign fucks or whatever team he bowls for, he knows everything about bowling.

he has absolutely no clue what lane conditions in most American centers are like, and less about the conditions in mine specifically. to tell me that i can't bowl and don't know how to play the lanes is a moronic statement.

  • lol go check my new vid my friend, all review vids of you guys are on typical house shots.... brrrrrrr oh so difficult !!!!! they look all thesame, nothing else but swinging. Go make one on 32 ft or 45ft instead of bumperbowling

  • When I went to your videos, all I saw was face, face, light, face, you only struck once. You are an idiot to say the way he is playing the lanes is a joke. He struck a lot, isn't that the object of the game? Moron.

  • you sure you watched mine vids ? lol funny guy....

i drilled up my natural and i threw today with it and filmed it go check my friend, you might learn something

  • Why do you say that??

I have a ebonite blue nitro(alot more older then this ball) and at a tournament i had be more left then what he is playing?? like i was crossing 25 at the arrows? just because today standards urethane are normally on the outsides with short patterns etc etc doesnt mean you cant be bowling inside...... its a joke you think like that=]

  • look how his ball hit the pins... says everything no? it should hit like a train but it's dead when the ball enters the pocket

  • i agree with you, he's trying to swing it a lil too much, but he's still young, so its all good

  • i didn't say he's a bad bowler the way he playes with a urethane ball is not smart. check a vid of mine where Dominic barret is playing with thesame ball and compare how his ball hits the pins and then check this video again. It's thesame ball !!!

  • Says who? You aren't bowling on the same condition as he is, how would you know? He's hitting the pocket, what difference does it make to you, he's young kid, and you are supposed to be representing your country. Nice. (Note to self: don't go to Belgium any time soon)

  • So which one is better in general?

    Lane1 Liberator or Storm Natural?

  • i never got to throw the liberator so sorry i cant tell u

  • it depends whether u think a stronger core or a weaker core match up better with a urethane cover

  • @groovy4 I throw a Liberator, and will have a Natural by the end of this week. The Liberator works well, *if* you know how to throw urethane. I see lots of younger bowlers who grew up with resin trying urethane, but trying to throw it like resin, and complaining that the ball doesn't finish. You need to go more down-and-in with urethane for it to work optimally.

  • @groovy4 definitely the natural bro, the liberator is just unnatural, no pun intended, they basically try to put a sports car engine in a Prius, it just doesn't work

  • This is not a weak coverstock. Mine is covering the same number of boards as my cell that is at 4000. The difference is that the Natural hooks off your hand and hooks all the way down the lane about the same both in and out of oil. It may work as a dry lane ball since it really just does not care whether there is or is not oil. I had pretty good recovery, but almost no hold. If you are a precise bowler and you feel cheated as your small misses become splits then you will be happy with this.

  • Yes you are completely right,, i was reading the description and thought the exact same thing...

This ball probably will give you the weak reaction you are looking for.

Im from europe and probably getting this for the short 32-36 ft patterns we get in tournaments :)

Good luck with it ! :D
