@dickwragg the cosworth name is big cos of its rally background, its a classic from the 80's. there is no difference between doing up any classic car, the reason cosworths cost alot is becouse alot of them was actually in motor racing throughout the years, i have a 4 door sierra cosworth (sapphire), only 13,000 odd made (for the whole of europe!) before they went to 4wd and alot of them ended up on tracks and have been destoryed over the 21 years. original parts are getting quite hard to come by

@dickwragg also on the "out proform" front it can happen, stock cosworth spec (very between models) is 0-60 in 6.1 for my rwd, thats not very fast in todays standards, but on euro and uk roads most U.S cars dont fair very well at all, and for the cost of a new standard "daily driver" say a ford focus you could get a cosworth into the low 4 seconds (maybe sub 4) to 60 and they handle pretty well on our roads
