I went to mud.edu but all the makeup programs last for 5/6 months... I can't find the 2-year course she was talking about that she shortened to 3 months... may I ask which one did she take? Or which program should I take if I want to become a full-time professional makeup artist?
@virtualheadachez We do not actually offer a two year course, Kumi was just saying the amount of teaching and learning that happens over 3 months is about two years worth of knowledge condensed into a short amount of time.
You can take any of our programs to become a full-time professional make-up artist, choosing one just depends on what area you want to focus on. Beauty make-up, character/special effects make-up, or both? Kumi took the Fashion Make-up Artistry Program.
@virtualheadachez contact us with any questions. For LA, email info@mud.edu or call 818-729-9420 or for NY, email nyinfo@mud.edu or call 212-925-9250. You can download a full catalog at mud.edu as well. Thanks for your interest and good luck!
I'd love to attend to your school in LA for "Film and Television Make-Up Artistry Program", but i'm from Italy and it's too expensive live for 5 months in the other side of the world... you'll always be my dream!
Hi @sindra1995! You do need to have a high school diploma or equivalent to attend MUD. The tuition varies depending on what program or course you are interested the best place to start is on the website. Good luck and hope to see you at one of our schools soon!
I REALLY want to go to that school just to get the experience of it but i feel that im too young to be there. I am 14 years old so am I allowed to be there? Another question: How much is the fees to be taking part in that school? How much do you have to pay?
I used to be a student there. And if im not wrong since your young you need to take a test so u can get in. Cuz if your 18 and graduated from High School you shouldn't have any problem. And no test .
And the fees.. well let's not talk about that.
All I could tell you by experience that this school is the best. I loved being there and it's just amazing. So It's all up 2 you on what you deside to do. GOOD LUCK!
