It's sad, but truth is. German soldiers where better and German war movies are the ones telling the true story of the wars. This movie again tries to do the same as American movies. I'm norwegian and my dad told me a story about how my grandpa fought in WW2 with his brother, but.... they weren't on the same sides. Why I will never know, but I knowing that story made this movie all the more sad.

What I love about this movie is that it is unique; it is the only movie that I have found that portrays the Korean war. Plus, the violence and action, while thres plenty of it, are not the main point of the film. theres an actualy story line. AS an American, I grow a little tired of seeing movies only on Vietnam, WWII or the Revolutionary. The story of this war needs to be told, and this is the movie to do so.

I love this film i watched it last night more importantly i love the society of the film the THEME brotherhood as whole how brothers should be and the true reallity of the korean war, why dont they stop fussing about world war 1 / etcc.... Make films and games about the Korean war they have a say in life i fuckin love Koreans becuase the show true Ferocity, Its kind of ironic the korean war is still on tho 50 years onwards still on. This movie is a must watch. I dont usually watch wartime movies and got freaked out with all the goryness.

But it was definitely worth. Such a good film that words cant describe it. It shows how love can bring us back when we feel there is no hope left. That something so drastic like war can change us so much so that we cant even see ourselves anymore. So touching and this remains true that may still cant find their family in Korea.

It is a master piece. But, for me, the most touching or sad scene is when the older brother lost his girlfriend (that he plan to marry). It is ironic, the older brother get medal for winning the battle in Pyongyang but after he was back to the South, the South Korean soldiers accuse his wife for being a traitor. It is really2 sad
