sure it will be forgotten...we'll be the old guys saying "you kids have no idea wtf ur missing"..while the'yre all happy and calling us crazy with lazers scratching their ass from outer space -_-
I need to put this on my iPod and use this to give myself a boost of confidence when I need it. When I was younger, this always inspired me to create, to strive to achieve what I wanted. And now I remember what I wanted to do with my life... It's amazing that 2 mins. literally changed my life. I'm going to restart, I will achieve something with my life and I will NOT fear failure.
Thank you, Toonami, For reminding me what was so important to me so many years ago.
ahh this gives me such a good feeling to see this again. My brother and I used to watch it faithfully, everyday we would rush home from school to watch it (ahh damn good times) that was in middle school. We're in college now and still watch the old promos from time to time ...LONG LIVE TOONAMI
Looking back on this I have decided this is my favorite promo, but I only remembered this until seeing it today. I only really managed to remember mad rhetoric like a charm. Toonami...please come back. This promo has such a message concerning self-discovery, especially the last line.
man we need to bring it all back. we need it back . this was so good. so much more wisdom now than before.. forget shows now a days. we cant let this slip into the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahh i love this promo!
Man this video has an epic message cause im 18 and turning 19 this december and i will never forget the way toonami was back in the old days just the message this promo gave me the look in trunks eyes "Believe in yourself create your own Destiny Don't fear failure" why would they get rid of shows that people will still watch over and over and over ive seen the whole dbz 4 times and i still like seein it its jsut something that u will never forget im just glad i experienced that
god i miss the nineties and the early 2000's, that was a time when you could litterly do anything you put your mind to and nobody would judge you for it
I'm sorry, but I.. NEED to change todays ways. I miss the 90s and some of the beginning of the 2000s. We were laid back, weren't wearing this gay-ass "new" aviators n tight pants.. we weren't totally limiting cartoon shows to appeal to children 3 years of age like now.. today its nothing but lame dress styles and dumb-shit shows now..
I think every kid that was like in the 4th grade during Toonami would play bball or football with friends after school and then be home by 4 just to watch Dragon Ball Z. Or, that was me atleast. Up until it ended ='[
Oh my gosh me too!!! You took the words right out of my mouth! Hahah! Yea, those were the days! But those memories are still with us. We can still dream and believe and trust!
these bring back SO MANY MEMORIES! i know its the same for you guys too. Toonami was the ABSOLUTE SHIT! I miss it so much. greatest part of my childhood.
i have this song as an mp3, it doesnt have the words but its good music, i also have mad rhetoric too. if anyone wants me to send it to them just message me or somethin and i'll be happy to do so :]
if i ever become someone important in life i will bring back toonami

heck freaking yeah it is. cheers mate. RIP toonami.
btw the whole video has really insightful thoughts throughout it. example: "no ones gonna give you a map you gotta walk your own path"
mdp311 2 years ago 5
the line is epic too, hell the whole thing is deep.
the toonami years were great
wat happened
admarshall617 2 years ago 5

mdp311 2 years ago 4
toonami tried to become too kidie even tho the good toonami was played at 4-6 and the crappy version was played at nine
example dbz they show goku slicing freeza wit the destructo disco
but on gt on the bad version of toonami, they edited that scene

Japan is still producing some high quality adult animations, I do my best to ignore the rest. It's hard though, I sympathize with you.

Got any names for some of these quality adult animations? I haven't seen a good one in a while.
