hey i also like this pairing a lot!!!! reira is amazing... and shin it's great too. And their love is simply wild love. I like it a lot.

Do you know something about Yazawa's situation? Manga isn't finished yet, and it's a pity... But I don't know how she is...

Reira so don't deserve Shin! She is selfish and spoiled! She wants someone to take the place Takumi so she really can't love someone truly and even have an affair with him while he is with Hachi!

@chantew18 Totally agree! I hate Reira for being so selfish and because of her selfish both the Nanas suffer! I have to admit that If it weren.t for her, the manga wouldn.t have had the same impact on the reader and the story would have been pretty boring, but that doesn.t change the fact that I hate her, especially for what happen concerning Ren...stupid bitch.

@ecstasygirlxx Yeah..... Like with Shin and all the drama was also caused by her! He got arrested for smoking weed cause he felt like he had no where to go. He loved Reira and she just tossed him aside with out thinking. I would sacrifice my career for love.... especially for someone like Shin. <3

In fact, they are at the same level, I cannot say that Shin outshines Ren or vice versa, but both of them had a great impact on me. Shin was more mature and stayed with his feet on teh ground almost throughtout the story. It is true he has moments when he could not resist anymore, as the one you mentioned.

Taking in consideration the fact that Ren went after Reira to bring her back and the fact that he died in the car accident that was leading to her, I think she is pretty much at fault. Moreover let.s think that it as just a stupid thing for her to do, take her toys and leave...

@ecstasygirlxx I did read the manga. It was so long ago. :( I thought it was because Ren had gotten high, and then he saw Nana trying to out speed the Magazine photographers and lost control of the car.

@misakiandeiri Same here, but NANA is my favourite and I read it like a hundred times. Yes, it is true that ren was high at that time, but if it wasn.t for Reira, to run away, he would have been at home or in some bar high. As I said, without Reira, the story wouldn.t have been the same and I think it is even more interesting this way, but that doesn.t change the fact that I hold a grudge against her. I appreciate the fact that Ai Yazawa manages to create both types of character, good and mean.

@JemLouisa They don't. In the flash forward Reira is alone when she is 'talking' to Ren. Also when he is driving in the car with Yasu, the song 'truth' plays and it seems to hit his emotions and reflected on Reira.
