Shows below the surface how Patchy can be, though she often appears emotionless. And Remelia does take her sister's amazing respect for her for granted sometimes, but if she didn't care, Flandre wouldn't live at the Scarlet Devil Mansion at all. Which goes to show just how much Remelia keeps her in check. So the ending was especially touching, since Flandre often gets forgotten.
