  • Some funky ass white boys....getting down. Love it! We all got soul.

  • Eh mecs, j'avais dix ans quand ma maman passait ce disque en boucle, mon instinct m'a dit :"cette musique vivra toujours" ! Petits cons de teen agers, pillez ce disque pour vos samples !

  • I LOVE TO LISTEN TO BANDS THAT CAN PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

  • Del album ":MA" ,lo tuve en Cuba.Muy populares en mi epoca;de mis favoritas bandas.

  • superfantastisch..........

  • great funky sound from a band who was absolutely awesome live, saw them in Chicago in 1973 at old McCormick Place on $th of July, they set off some fireworks inside with their tunes!!

  • me and my old lady moon baby saw these guys at the mountainfest motorcycle rally in morgantown wv,they still rock

  • i grew up on this shit...lol

and thanks to my moms and pops who never threw away their soul and funk lps

i own the original MA Lp - mint condition. it seems kinda fucked up how i cant find a dj to help a sister out for a beat in my city. sexist bastards. watch they'll be stealin this idea next.

  • geil echt geil einfach ein sagenhaftes Lied

  • Precursor for all that party West Coast 90s rap.

  • One of the best intros to a song I've ever heard.

  • rare earth, white or black just one their one style, and that what I love from them

  • I'm black and these was some bad mother for you's. They were at Motown and had the funk down.

  • Simply Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • We play both 7" singles: Rare Earth was released 1st (1973), AND Undisputed Truth (1974). Great songs for the floor - neither group really had claim to it - was not written by either groups' members - Thank you for posting this single from the always overlooked "MA" album by this really exciting group still relevant to today! DAVEDJ

  • the funkiest white boys that ever took the stage!! That includes AWB and any other blue eyed soul group you can think of.

  • the funkiest white boys that ever took the stage!!

  • Only white R&B group with Motown and worth listening too!!...Go Pete Rivera!

  • groovy

  • absolutely one of the best tracks rare earth laid down, funk at its best from a great band, saw them live on fouth of july at old mccormick place in chicago 1972

  • I have the original Lp in vinyl, purchased in 1974,and they are ultra cool for white dudes, all thnkd to the genius of Norman Whitfield, and yes UT have their own version

  • ...great song

  • There is also an Undisputed Truth version of this song.

  • and its amazing too

  • Yes.UT.They also did cover "Down By The River".The other favourite track of mine by UT is 'UFO".Not on YouTube.

  • @mayena I just heard The Undisputed Truths' version of this song. It sounded like either Rare Earth were the originators of the song or they did a wwwaaayyy better job that The Undisputed Truth. I stick to this version because I can't imagine Rare Earth doing a cover "Smiling Faces, Sometimes"!

  • @gripperholmes91215 The Undisputed Truth's is just as good the original version.

  • @mayena you have got to be crazy!!! There is no way you can say that UTs' version is better. Super dull begining. Damn near fell asleep!

  • @gripperholmes91215 Still disagree I like my music more funkier.

  • @mayena Well, i'll have to say, on this particular song, i'll have to accept your disagreement and move on.
