@etspunkfsas actually their acoustics and some of their old guitars are amazing. i have a 12 string(me and my dad) and its so good. they actually brought out an sg type guitar in the 70s and it was nicknamed the les paul killer because of how good it played. so do some research and actually play a descent yamaha before making up your mind

i use a line 6 podxt for most of my distortion and effects and whatnot. i just messed around with it until i liked the sound. its a sweet thing to have.

You're wrong, distortion is used, and it does sound like your playing it in clean. Too tinny for my liking. And your $200 spent on a tuner could've been used on a better amp instead.
