Once in a blue moon, in magic, having learn't so much magic and knowing so many secrets, I am amazed, and right now I was. I know there are modern versions of this trick, but I enjoyed how engaged I was into those 4 minutes of presentation and performance.

Even the impressive modern versions performed on "The Magicians" were not as good as this simple original despite the amazing work that I comes to mind, reflecting back on my memory.

I remember seein this on TV bak in the 60s. I never forgot it & it always drove me mad to know how it was done.

A couple of years ago, the masked magician showed exactly how it was done ~ so easy ~ but still it baffled me ~ the illusion is fantastic.

Surely the greatest illusion ever.

Masterful. This is so well thought out . Most people who do this illusion butcher it badly . Harbin's thinking on this , the little touches he adds to make it convincing, are what really sets his apart from so many of the imitations.

This is a great performance. He knew the timing and how to create a climax with his illusion, something that many today's performers didn't realize yet.
