She was just a coniving sex pot.So awesome and powerful.I would have ate her for a month and still give her my money.I'm such a self loathing asshole.
It's amazing to see Bob Balaban @4:50 as the teenage boy in the movie theater. He is now 65 year old with quite an acting career history while most remember him as Seinfeld character portrayal of NBC president, who Elaine shunned into oblivion.
The scene at about 5:12 is so touching, where Joe and Ratso are in the staircase and Joe wipes the sweat off of Ratso's face. If you could sum up the meaning of the film in one scene, it would be that.
@AmyLoveFun Sylvia is a good friend of a very close cousin of mine. she lives in New York I saw her last when she was a guess of honor at one of my cousins party's a few year ago. I did not know she got a nomination for this.
@kyolym Really? :) That's nice. Unfortunatley I did not have the luck to meet her. My comment was actually from imdb. I found that info fascinateing so i thought I share it with you guys. I hope it's not false anyways.:)
@AmyLoveFun Actually that's false. Margaret Wycherly had the shortest role of appearing for a mere 3 minutes and 14 seconds on screen in 1941's Sergeant York
What a fucked up film

i always thought it was Rick Moranis from 'honey, i shrunk the kids".
i think the reason bob balaban nowadays alays wears a beard is just not to be recognized as the guy from midnight cowboy!
