beat the game on hard mode and you'll unlock the legendary dark knight...aside from his looks, he is exactly as strong as dante. the only difference makes mission 1 on dmd, because ldk starts with an alastor-like sword so you are able to use devil trigger against the marionettes in the basement...this advantage makes the mission a lot easier...after mission 1, using ldk is the same as using dante though...no differences

it seems like the large amount of orbs the fetishes drop make the orb requirement way easier to meet than in normal mode... of course the damn hard nature of dmd probably makes up for that

You need a capture device of some sort - either a TV card, DVD recorder, or, as a last resort, webcam or digi camera. I recommend a TV card; you can get them for pretty cheap nowadays.

Uploading is the easy part, tho' you might need to compress and edit your footage first. Virtual Dub is free and can do basic editing, but for fancier stuff you'll need Windows Movie Maker - or something better <_<

You'll have to start a new game from scratch to use LDK. (LDK isn't a mode, btw, it's just a costume.) When you do that, you'll get to choose which difficulty mode and character you want. LDK comes pre-equipped with Yamato - you can use it anywhere you like. <_<

when you jump, control it you have to land right on top of the statue, or you go right over it

I'm really late with this, but there are 2 ways:

1. Walk around the base of the horse's neck, keeping triangle held down - there is a trigger point, which, if you pass over it, will make Dante do an *automatic* leap up. The method I used.

2. Stand next to the spear, jump up as high as possible, then at the height of your jump, press jump again - you should do a kick-jump on to the top of the spear.

You can't in Easy Automatic - you can only see it in Normal mode or higher. And you see it after completing Mission 23, provided you got all S Ranks.

The only weapon you are allowed to use against Mundus is the Sparda. If you try to change swords, it says something like, "You'll never be able to defeat Mundus if you change weapons!" That means that the only Devil Trigger you can use is the one that Sparda gives you.

You shouldn't be doing so much shooting that your thumb is hurting though - for a start, the guns are meant to be the back-up for your main Devil Arm, not the other way around :-/. It's in DMC2 that you use your guns for absolutely everything :p

In the event, using LDK didn't really make it as much easier as I thought it would - in fact, I'd have probably got the SB as quickly (or slowly) with Dante =/

No matter, though - in some ways I prefer LDK to Dante anyway, for his cool shadow, monocle, and Sparda form when DTed with Ifrit.
