  • What kind of device has Fleming in her throat that allows her an uninterrupted perfectly polished sound flow without the slightest compromise in consonant articulation - in all other voices the sound is lowered or thinned or even interrupted during the consonant production but not in the case of Fleming as if the two procedures are totally irrelevant.

    The sound flows like a flight in a dream where the feet never touch the ground

    I saw the interview long after I wrote this comment above. I have to say it is a magnificent metaphor to describe what Fleming does but not at the least does it describe the way she achieves that which I am 100% sure she herself does not understand one bit :)) She thinks she does but she doesnt
