So the program eliminated a guitar track? or just lowered it's volume on this vid? Whats the advantage of using this? Thanks.

The software allows you to cut out frequencies or isolate them and slow them down so you can play along. In this case nothing was cut out. Personally I don't even care about the feature, but I do like the interface that allows you to have a billion effects pedals and a dozen or so amps. The program is kind of like a large effects processor that's easier to use because you have the computer interface.
