Yes insects won't eat Bt varieties, but guess what those deterrents are already in other plants naturally. The question is, Are GMOs bad for people? And there really hasn't been any evidence in the scientific literature to support this. Furthermore, the examples you provide suggest you aren't up to date on the scientific literature.
