@jellymanable I think it hated the Omega more than Samus. It wasn't trying to help her, it just realized there were bigger fish to fry. Kind of like before when the SA-X started shooting up all those metroid larvae in the hatching tanks. It was just so busy shooting them, it didn't care about Samus anymore. O.O

Great run. Gave me some good tips on the bosses. Btw, apparently the Omega Metroid doesn't recognize it's sister when it sees it(since Samus was injected with metroid DNA).

I haven't watched the whole thing yet but I'm a few seconds in, you know you can just charge beam SA-X, jump over, turn around, charge beam, jump over, turn around, charge beam etc etc until she transforms, right? If you jump up high enough she'll never hit you. Then upon transformation jump into upper left hand corner and shoot down whenever SA-X jumps. Easy.

Metroids hate the X. So maybe killing the Metroids on S4388 was a bad idea. After Super Metroid, the X came to SR388 to live on. I hate the X. Plus, when I saw the Samus-X (SA-X), I was like "OMG! It's... me?" When the eye part came, I was like, "No it is not me." The Ice missile and the Diffusion missile were the same, but the Diffusion missile spreads out. That's why you weren't able to beat the Omega Metroid. Only the Ice beam worked on the Omega Metroid. Nice job by the way.

In the times when she has no helmet on, she is safe in what environment she was currently in. Basicly, just in a ship. In her ship, and in Chozodia in Metroid Zero Mission. Apparently there was oxygen there too. But since its limited in the depths of space that she goes into, she rarely takes off her helmet. For her own safety. Although it could be something else, but i doubt it. For what she goes through, she could've swallowed a special pill to provide oxygen for her in her stomach.

@coolguy02536 well acctually acording to the Wikitroid (a database about Metroid) Samus was infused with Chozo DNA thus allowing her to live in conditions that humans can not survive in (Ex: Elysia from Metroid Prime 3) and also how else do you think she is able to do everything in the games that normal humans can not i mean honestly jumping higher than three inches to about three - four feet (w/o high jump)...

SA-X had a choice on what was the stronger threat-Samus, who had only a small amount of Metroid DNA, or the Omega Metroid...no contest on what was the bigger threat.

no, it's because, if you payed attention during the start, you were injected with the "metroid" vaccine and the metroids kill the x parasite and the sa-x is an x parasite, it wants to kill you. to get rid of the metroid within you.

because of the vaccine, she was able to absorb the X parasites on the space station and turn them into beneficial energy to somehow heal her.

Also, the SA-X maybe sensed some of the biological traits that Samus may have inherited from the metroid vaccine and also saw her as a predatorial enemy considering the X-parasites and metroids are enemies.

The way the game calculates the items is that all of the suit's abilities are not factored in. Only e tanks, missile tanks, and power bomb tanks are calculated into the total items at the end. The only factored item was the missile expansion from sector 3.

This isn't impassable by the way I can do this on my home version. It's actually better to do it on a home copy because the nightmare and ridley fights won't slow down and (as always) the graphics are better.

He might be oriented to the story only. But I have no idea when he died. My best guess is super metroid when ridley blew up the space station ceres but Samus (and the computer in the previous segment to this playlist.) says he sacrificed his life for hers at one point. So there's no telling what happened.

Adam Malkovich was Samus's Commanding Officer while she was a Federation Policewoman. Not much is known about him except that he sacrificed his life for her. after his death, she left the Federation and became a bounty Hunter.

RG, Adam could not have been on Ceres because she was already a bounty hunter by then. This must have occured prior to the events of the first Metroid.

Do you have Metroid Prime 3? If so, I reckon that doing a low item challenge on Hypermode difficulty would be a challenge. But perhaps doing Metroid Prime next would be good. Prime is one of my favourite games ever.
