Batman books look and read good for me. I'm so upset over Captain America working without Steve Rogers but the plan was always to bring him back ASAP. Love Bruce Wayne but it's time to cover new ground with Batman.
Doug Mahnke might finally get his dues. He has covered some serious ground in DC and is now one of my top artists. Same with Benes after Titans: Blackest Night.
The only book you reviewed here that I didn't care for was World's Finest. I like the idea, I just hate the Nightwing character.
OH COME ON, Blackest Night #4 rocked. I was pissed to see Damage die, but again, worth it cause it's Johns. I know he loved that character, so the kills to me are not heartless (pun intended).
I liked Flash doing what the JLA/Heroes had always relied on Manhunter for... communication. This is a time I excuse the lack of coming together until now.
You know whats weird? That Batman/Superman series. In it Bruce is alive and Superman is still on earth. To me that World's finest series should just take over SM/BM.
I like SM/BM as "out of continuity" stories, though. I don't like it enough to buy it, but I still like it. :) Just like PunisherMax is going to also be "out of continuity".
Arkham Reborn was pretty nice imo.
