@Cenot4ph the hardest part if the racquet motion, if you can get this racquet motion, and then, add the legs and the jump--because this comes off with mad spin and is a very good kick serve
I still can't get the proper swing for my kick serve. My toss is in moderate high, that gives me enough time to time the drop of the ball with my kick serve. They say that the proper swing is from 7 to 1 o clock and supposed to be above my head, but still " can't execute it. What is supposed to be the problem with my serve?
When I was just starting tennis around 6 or so I had a low toss like that. My coach told me that i needed to add some height because the kinetic chain won't be able to build up in that short time. A low toss doesn't allow you to meet the ball at it's zenith. I believe that Tipsarevic has the lowest toss on the ATP and his is still like 18 inches higher than this gentleman's. He looks tall so he really can't use that to hit down on the ball with that toss. G, you have a good toss, don't copy him!
Problem is, if you don't jump through using your legs the power is just not there much. Look at the pro's and it's alll clear.

@petunia0809 you have to toss it in front, and GET UNDER it and hit up. it's the hitting up that is the hardest part of it

@hi10spro Yes, he is talented though...in order to hit a kick serve like that is a lot of racquet speed and bending in the back.

dude... the toss for a kick serve should be lower than say for a flat serve but.... this is waaaay to low!
