  • 4:13 *Bang* Ugggggghhhhhh... *bladder empties*

  • This is the last song.... ;______;

  • Ricardo Lopez tried to kill her too...

  • Bjork or Portishead!? who has the best songs?

Also, this song gives me the creeps after watching that one video diary!

  • "Ok, it's time."

  • all these comments are old as fuck, like from back when you could rate vids with stars lmao. anyways.... VICTORYYYY!!! BOOM. thumbs up if ya know wat i mean

  • You guys know she isnt the original singer or writer to this song, right?

  • Ricardo Lopez :'( R.I.P. 9/12/1996

  • BOOOOMMM HEADSHOT!!!! XD yes I'm going to hell

  • But who's the harpist? He's the real genius in this arrangement!

  • I actually wrote, "I LOVE THE BJORK FING".

There was nø "yUo" in it it at all.

    :D*

  • And boom goes the dynamite!

  • 3:21 lol! that part always makes me laugh, she know what she was doin, why she playin? lol!

  • Helen Forrest did this song with Harry James about 1942. I have the record, one of my favorites.

  • i actually have to thank you Ricardo Lopez for leading me to this song... such a strange way to get into an artist

  • new soundtrack of my life

  • Bjork can sing--I think any mistakes in her singing, especially when recorded professionally, are all purposeful. On that note, I think this rendition of the song is about suicide. When her voice does go off-key or off-color, it sounds painful and broken and I think that's why this song is really great. It's a love song that's been switched into a suicide song, and mistakes in all, it's beautiful.

  • I can't enjoy this music again after watching ricardo lopez' tape.

  • This is for you~

  • This song (not sung by Bjork) was featured in the movie THE MAJESTIC starring Jim Carey.

I love this song, especially this one by Bjork

  • And the angels ask me to recall

    The thrill of them all,

I shall tell them I remember you (:

  • Ricardo Lopez.... :(

  • Of course I do...

  • this is the song that the bjork stalker blew his brains out to.

unfortunately, ill never see this song the same way, because of watching the vid.

  • BANG

  • Beautiful.

  • I like how she uses her voice as an instrument. She is singing in a sense. Just not the way were use to it. If you don't believe me, remember, you ARE hearing range control, which trust me, is very different from simply yelling. It does take practice ;)

  • everytime i hear this i see that guy commit suicide. I love the song, but the image of him disturbs me.

  • You call this talent? Even Slim Whitman does a better job on this great song.

  • it's time ^^

  • @FishcakeX

    I wish I hadn't watched that video.

  • THIS IS FOR YOU

    *pop

  • VERY, very disturbing listening to this song when you know somebody killed themselves whilst this was playing. Its just weird how the song strangely goes with lopez's last moments :| .

  • beautiful!(: i heard of this song from the novel called I Remember You (named after the lyics) by Harriet Evans

  • Oh hey! It's the song that maniacal fat fuck killed himself to.

That irritates me, since this song is actually really cute. Between Bjork and Sigur Ros, Iceland really hit the market for soulful music.

  • Ricardo lopez blew his own head off to this song. Awesome.

  • Gosh I wasn't going to say anything. So sad...but at least the person who took their life had this beautiful song to listen to. I'm not trying to be trite but music is about life and death and stems from the void which is vaginal creation which is nothing and everything all rolled up into one like a tootsie roll.

  • Frank Ifield did this song also Slim Whitman. Both have their renditions on You Tube

  • Es preciosa esta cancion!!

    que bonito!!

    :D!

  • this is the last song bjork's stalker listened to right before he shot himself.

  • RIP Ricardo López - a very sad untimely end to a very disturbed person.

  • R.I.P. Eva Markvoort

  • Lopez comitted suicide while listening to this song !! What a feeling when listening to it now !

  • @mohager101 what a feeling eh?the feeling im thinking now is "fuck you" i didnt want to know that...

  • @mohager101 yea i saw the vid too, wat a crazy fuck. wats the name of the other song he listens to before this one?

  • @mohager101 Yes it feels so strange

  • @mohager101 Ricardo Lopez turned out to be as known as Bjork herself,

I'm sure had he lived today in our time of fast internet and the millions of

Rx drugs they have compared to 1996 ..well who knows, sad life he lived.

  • @mohager101

    "The Best Of Me"

  • @mohager101 lol That's why I started listening to it!

  • @mohager101 I just saw the video of Ricardo Lopez, very strong and emotional.

  • @mohager101 That's the reason I looked it up! XD

  • makes my heart melt

  • sound like 13 yr old singing!

  • I think the instrumentation is lovely.

And that her unique voice suits it well.

My first time hearing this artist :)

  • The Harp is great i love it so much but her voice is soooooooooo ugly ...she sings like she was sick hehehehe.....lol...

  • I love this song so much, but i cant help myself remembering of Ricardo Lopez :(

  • The pictures are beautiful, the music is

lovely, but this poor child can barely sing.

How did she ever get so well known--even I have heard of her?

  • Bjork's voice is...unique. Her music is experimental and overall GENIUS, which is what makes her so well known. Even though her voice can't even compare to that of Whitney, Mariah or even Christina, it's her overall music/lyrics that makes her an amazing artist. She's just so freaking creative!! XD

  • @mcrlovesBoA hahaha your right she cant compare,

she is entirely out of their league.

    especially whitney, hahaha

they can all sing lower but none of those artists can BELT as high as bjork

  • @mcrlovesBoA I think her voice FAR surpasses those of Mariah and Christina. Whitney is a powerhouse in her own right but in a completely different way. There have been singers like Whitney, but there will NEVER be another Bjork.

  • @mcrlovesBoA you are obviously not a singer yourself if you think 'chirstina' has anything on ths lady

  • @mcrlovesBoA or WHITNEY christ you make me laugh

  • She used a swan as a dress and a guy tried to murder her with an acid bomb and then he video tapped himself doing the weirdest stuff and shooting himself in the head naked with makeup. She's like papparazzi ecstasy.

  • I'm going to go to Bjork's house and chop off Matthew Barney's head!!! So i can marry Bjork!!!

  • Johnny Mercer wrote this for Judy Garland

Intro Verse not used her are

    Was ii in Tahiti

    were we on the Nile

    Long Ago Long Ago

    say a year or so

    I saw your smile

  • no that is not true..

  • Thanks atmosfearic1. Yeah, I'm way behind times I guess. I had to look her up in Wickipedia. Since she was apparantly born in '64 a cover of this in '93 would make her in her late 20s. Sounds like a child's voice. Nice accompanyment and beautiful pictoral composition. Thanks for posting it.

  • A charming rendition. I was looking for the hit which I remember from many decades ago.(I can't remember who sang it). After the 2nd time through I think I prefer this one. Very well done. How old and who is the vocalist?

  • I'm sure you know it's an old tune, that's been covered by many artists. This is done by Icelandic singer Björk and was done in 1993. What they are referring to in the earlier post is that there was a crazy fan that video taped himself committing suicide and this song was played in the background.

  • lmao.....so we all watched a dude kill himself and thought, lets watch the music video! I'm pretty sure were derranged, this is on my i-pod for sure!

  • @jstjake1 uhh... yeah. that's pretty much why I'm watching this. I'm downloading this just so that I can listen to this song next time I feel like having suicidal thoughts ;)

  • that sweet romantic

  • i just watched a video of a guy killing himself to this song

  • me too x_x

  • this cant be bjork she wasnt alive then

  • It's a cover.

  • Where do I get this song?
