Worst storyline ever. What the hell was Days of our Lives thinking with this? This storyline was so stupid.

the only thing I can guess is that they were competing w/ Passions... what with the mindnumbingly dumb but so insane you can't stop watching storylines.... and the fact that they used ANY excuse to get the guys' shirts off...

Wow, this sucked. At least Passions knew they sucked!

This s/l was indeed awful but I was really starting to like Greta and Austin as a couple. They had some really cute scenes right after this s/l. I really don't know why they chose not to go any further with them. As soon as they went back to Salem they hooked him back up with Sami which was just stupid and then they had Greta crushing on Jack.

I was in the wardrobe department at DOOL and I had to make Austin's clothes and spent days prepping the two costumes as well as the "tear away" set. That part was fun actually,

But when it came time to shoot this storyline, YIKES! Let's just say Austin wasn't thrilled with his costumes.

@sanfransissy That's what I heard -- he did a lot of complaining to Michael Logan, etc. about this storyline. He looked cute, though.

How long did this story last? Who remembers the part of the storyline where Austin had to fight Greek gods or something.

i may be in the minority but i loved this story! soap camp at its best. austin and greta should return and be paired up together again.

Wow... This is bad. "Passions" bad. Was this while James Reilley was writing? Because this reeks of the same stupidity as most of his storylines.

Wow. Ha ha. I think this is literally the storyline that pushed me over the edge and made me stop watching the show. I survived Marlena turning into a panther, a lady draped in a table cloth, John's VR goggles, and fifteen million different Eileen Davidson characters. But every girl has her breaking point.

as I recall, this storyline wasn't just one or two episodes, which might have been fun and amusing, but it just went on and on for weeks, can't really remember many details or how it ended but I seem to recall "Charles" (same guy that's in the coronation/shooting scene, old dude with a gun) appearing as a floating head, taunting them; and Austin fighting as a gladiator at some point...

OMG! I totally forgot about this storyline. Soo stupid! A total waste of Julianne Morris' talent. Oh, well at least Austin Peck and Julianne are beautiful to look at. :) Did they hook up? I don't recall but they should've if they didn't.

2000, I believe. And, no, this was virtual reality or something. Makes it better but... not much better. Greta, who's awesome, redeems this somewhat... but other than that...
