ive been a fan of WCW years... to make a long story short i was waiting for this match to come on and prematurely started making snacks since hogan vs sting was a classic match that had been promoted and talked about so long i couldnt wait for it to get started but...seeing hogan came out in casual clothes something was wrong, talking to sting i feared the worst but once he layed down the only thought running thru my mind was ''what the...omg...did he...HOGAN?!!'' then i blacked out :(
When i started watching wrestling as i kid, i watched WCW. My mom wouldn't let me watch the WWF (at the time) because it was too crude and violent. WCW had a contract with Ted Turner and TNT that basically made them not be able to be a risque as the WWF. Thats what ultimately killed the WCW. People knew that there was blood and boobs on WWF and just slowly started switching their liking. I started watching WWF when the whole "buy out" thing went down. Watched WCW til the end.

@GamingPalooza how did he make wrestling???? a 5 moveset doesn't 'make' wrestling. wrestling consists of agility, stamina, technicality, strength and acting. hogan only had 1 of those things.

ive been a fan of WCW years... to make a long story short i was waiting for this match to come on and prematurely started making snacks since hogan vs sting was a classic match that had been promoted and talked about so long i couldnt wait for it to get started but...seeing hogan came out in casual clothes something was wrong, talking to sting i feared the worst but once he layed down the only thought running thru my mind was ''what the...omg...did he...HOGAN?!!'' then i blacked out :(

When i started watching wrestling as i kid, i watched WCW. My mom wouldn't let me watch the WWF (at the time) because it was too crude and violent. WCW had a contract with Ted Turner and TNT that basically made them not be able to be a risque as the WWF. Thats what ultimately killed the WCW. People knew that there was blood and boobs on WWF and just slowly started switching their liking. I started watching WWF when the whole "buy out" thing went down. Watched WCW til the end.

@papillonaquatique What happened was simply put...Hogan was being Hogan, Vince Russo had just come in and WCW was getting the "fresh" ideas from the guys who wrote most of the "Attitude Era" storys and Hogan pulled his Bitch-Card and went out and layed down for the 3, The SAD thing is that Hulk STILL got paid for this waste of Tape, Hogans a bitch, and always has been, or HASBEEN, whatever you wanna call that asshole, The rock said it best when he said he took a HULK-A-Crap, RIP TNA under Hogan

bunch of morons... all of you: ignorants! worried about the music? if you were wwe or tna ceo, you'll be looking for any ways to cut expenses, including avoiding soundtrack royalties. enough on that matter please. what worries most is what ocurred backstage between hogan, sting and who-knows-who-they-are, invisible script writers (russo, etc.), the negative side of wrestling: sometimes following scripts like robots to make you morons wet your pants is not funny for them.

No, it wasn't. At this point, Sting was using "Seek and Destroy" by Metallica. Licensing wasn't a problem, since Time Warner owned by WCW and Metallica's then-record label.

What the! is right. First Hogan doesn't come out, then Shavonie says The Brain stinks, then Sting comes out to..Mike Knoxs music? Idk where that came from lol, then Hogan comes back out and lays down, then the ref counts 4 times, then Sid Vicious's music plays lol TNA is great.

Just like how they used one of their own WWE productions for Sandman's entrance on the ECW One Night Stand 2005 DVD.

@VanDam08 They are edits. WWE doesn't want to pay royalties for some of the music they use , so they use generic music for some of the entrances on WWE DVDs with classical footage.
