No reasonable person would drive drunk. No reasonable person would be drunk and speed and be drunk besides. That makes what Dunn did reckless, something no reasonable person would do and therefore is is treated NOT as an accident but as a criminal act subject to a long prison term.
Such fools deserve no sympathy. Their reckless conduct took the life of somebody else due to their criminal activity. Sure, in Dunn's case the passenger was another drunk and should have never got in the car. That does not forgive Dunn under the law. HE was operating the vehicle HE is responsible. Now perhaps some don't understand why I and many others say it's good Dunn died. Reason, he can't kill anyone else. One less reckless lunantic on the road that would sooner or later kill.

In most states the charge is Vehicular, manslaughter or vehicular homicide, even felony murder.
Dunn fans are making excuses for Dunn's poor judgement. Who cares if he made you laugh or thought he was funny. Its like a owner of a pit bull where the dog has already bitten several people. In effect saying I have a "right" to let my dog loose and if he bites you, that's your fault for walking past my house. Dunn had no business driving recklessly or drunk. You see nothing wrong with this? This could have ended much worse. Only the guity died. Good.

No reasonable person would drive drunk. No reasonable person would be drunk and speed and be drunk besides.
