I want you to research free market economics. If you are afraid of what will happen when you deregulate the market to a free economy then you have gotten all your explanations from your friends and simply put don't get it. I do however wish that all Ron Paul detesters were like you because all it takes to bring you around is education. Some people (the believers) won't listen to reason and will never change even with education.
That is just like saying the ONLY reason your mom works at the dippin' dots is for the discount on the ice cream of the future. We all know there is MORE to it than that, fube.
Like I said, there are more things to vote for than the President. Do you know what district you live in for your state elections? If so, you are a minority and should be out educating the people who don't know or care. Good can't come from above, never has...gotta focus on the small, local elections. Things we can directly influence.

Big Business gets the way it is because it is in bed with Big Government. Enron was a CIA op, do your research! In free, open markets where the government keeps it's dirty little hands off, competition drives down prices and improves quality of the products and services. Look at the electronics industry!
No I understand and agree with what you are saying. However a totally unregulated world where these animals can do whatever they please would be just as bad, possibly worse. If people would start caring and get involved in the one thing they can control (their government..especially locally) then we wouldn't have this mess.
Pretty safe to say we get what we ask for and deserve.
You're right...we asked for more government control at the federal level and all we got was corruption and collusion at the expense of the consumer and taxpayer. With the formation of consumer watch dogs and unions, those "animals" have their power put in check. Right now, thanks to the partnership between Big Biz and Big Gov, their power is unchecked. After all, politicians like rich people supporting their campaigns! :D
..and the weirdest thing about the whole Ron Paul Devolution "movement" is a fairly consistent invoking of Reagan, what a swell fellow he was, and how he liked Ron Paul. Reagan is the one who started all this corpratist nightmare, and his bogus legacy must be straightened out before we can make any progress. Read David Cay Johnston's "Free Lunch" or look at some of his you tube vids...democracy now or the bill moyer's interview with him are good..
First off Ron Paul has never said anything relating to your rhetoric. What Ron Paul has said is federal government has no business in regulating certain laws. It's like this. Anything that must operate as a monopoly should be kept in the publiuc, rather than private domain, especially something like water. did you see his interview with "the loop" he explained his position on net neutrality. He didn't support legislation for it because he doesn't want government to even dream they have any right to legislate anything whatsoever about the internet. He feels the internet should be hands off where the government is concerned.
When you allow the gov. to believe the internet is within their jurisdiction you risk the potential for future restrictions or damaging legislation. Do not allow the gov. to legislate anything! It is our last place of freedom left. The gov. has no business determining anything with regards to internet use. NOTHING!!
If the gov. was so great why did the FCC allow the military industrial complex players consolidate the almost 50 different networks to be consolidated into the six slave owner networks? Huh? where was your gov.then pal? The media controls what you think get it. I understand that corporate greed has taken over our lives but it was working with these corrupt congressmen all along.

He is a man of principled integrity. He walks the walk my friend.
If that brain were to think like Paul or u i would not want it... if Paul were elected and impose laissez-faire this country would ruined... possibly forever.
Libertarians main stance is the support of Laissez-Fair.
The problem is that LF is the reason that Big Business exists, and monopolies for that matter. The only way that these things can be controlled is through Gov't intervention as Keynes showed. Libertarians rely the invisible/imaginary hand of Laissez-Fair to solve every thing as Adam Smith did, but history proves this otherwise. Ron Paul may have good intentions for the people, but his stances undeniably promote big business...
Why do you insist on generalizing and calling all Ron Paul supporters one thing or another? (potheads) His supporters are an incredibly diverse group of people who are held together by a message, not a man...The message is of the constitution and of freedom... the message yearns for major reform. Is there any backing to anything you say?
No Ron Paul actually believes that those jobs should stay here. He wants to reduce the incentives that give corporations reason to outsource, and he wants to create new ones that urge them to keep those jobs here.
yea the Reagan years, the years of more regulation than any president till that time. Check your facts. [btw Bush now has more new regulations than any president]
People were made to be free. Freedom will not create a perfect world. Just the best possible world. Freedom is the solution to the human condition. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who understands this. ALL the others tell you that if you give them power(that is, give up your power/freedom) they will fix all life's problems for you. Which makes them either fools or power hungry liars.
Does the fact that hes against the biggest business of them all (the gvt) mean anything to you? Ron Paul has been a republican forever... He ran as libertarian for a year because he didn't like where his current party was going. He has been criticized ever since, so instead he was forced to take on a harder goal, to bring his party back to where it should be.
yah they like to vote 1 star on all videos that discuss controversial things like facts and history regarding paul in between magic the gathering games.
Evidence that he is not good for America will first be shown by Nickelback becoming bigger than ever while he is president (media consolidation will be crAzy under Paul!!)
My question for Ron Paul, although I haven't quite forged it yet, would be basically how he equates corporate liberty with individual liberty, and how he sees it as a good thing for American workers to compete with people making $1 a day. I would also ask Ron Paul if he has ever read "Grapes of Wrath" and, if so, does he feel it represents the negative side of liberty.
"The Libertarians' ultimate solution to this business/labor dilemma is to keep government out of the regulation business and allow corporations to regulate themselves. This is what Ron Paul believes, although he doesn't write much about labor on his web site." - OpEdNews
He's a laissez-faire capitalist..nuf said. There'd be a real revolt if the country went his way. And, maybe he wldn't invoke the Patriot Act ..he'd just hire some Pinkerton goons...the true free-market way. It's amazing how many people are so truly ignorant about this guy.
thanks for bringing up the topic oOxst even if it was somewhat obscure to me. I have been looking at this and here are some of my research data to date:
"Outsourcing is a reflection of a bad economic environment domestically. If you fix that, you fix outsourcing. Our primary export is paper money, and that should change if you change the monetary policy. We should drop the Overseas Investment Protection Corporation -- which makes taxpayers cover losses for U.S. companies doing business in foreign countries -- have a sound currency and lower taxes. With that we could become competitive again, but that is going to be very very difficult." Ron Paul
what is "Overseas Investment Protection Corporation". I did a search on it and only found 1 ref which was some wierd pdf. "Bad economic enviroment domestically" is the reason they outsource? NO WAY! they do it to make more money!
Actually, there is such an 'insurance' policy. For instance the US taxpayers rebuilt the Palesinian infrastructure that Israel blew to bits just previous to their attacks on Lebanon.
And, you are so right on about increasing the bottomline THAT'S what outsourcing is.
Corporations own the government now. If free trade was truly possible, farmers could grow hemp, foreign products would be sold here (such as Canadian drugs) more cheaply, causing American companies to drop prices to compete. Government favoritism would end. Freedom is not a bad thing, my friend.
Ron Paul will take government SUBSIDIES and FAVOR from big business. He would give everyone a level playing field in the free market. The Fed rewards irresponsible big business practices. He wants to abolish that! DUH!
dr. ron paul does not want you to follow him. he wants you to be informed and make decisions before you go to vote. paul will be the first to tell you the leaders at the highest level are most responsible to the voter at his lowest level constitutionally, the individual rights.
it's accountability and honesty about what the office is.
You need to do some research, my friend. Net neutrality would bring in GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS INCLUDING TAXES which will NOT BE NEUTRAL because of big business' lobbyists.
of course with monsanto owning crop seed and monsanto being a publicly traded company.the food, fuel, and animal feed we need are for sale to the highest bidder.does that make rest easy.
heh, Ive totally learned to just say no to bottled water. What a rip off. I only buy it when there is nothing offered at the store that doesnt have high fructose corn syrup in it..which sadly is a product of government intervention if I remember correctly....(subsidies on corn research out the butt)
I'm sure this has been stated countless times before, but I don't want to see Paul supporters at each others throats over misunderstandings. The libertarian argument is that government interference in the market actually benefits corporations by giving some advantages over others. The most blatant example is subsidies, but even universal regulations that effect every business in a market can hurt the smaller businesses more than the big ones who have the capital to survive.
I'm glad you see it my way. Dumb ol' fat ladies, by which you are an expert on, have all the answers. They are the hidden wisdom behind all intelligent issues/conflicts. I'm glad that you see that they are a source of knowledge in this world.
Way to dodge the question. Highlights to me that your actually just a child and starved for attention. You'll get no more from me.
By the way, when you stereotype Ron Paul supporters, that is just plain bs. Those who know of Ron Paul support the Constitution and know he is the ONLY one in government that does as well. They also know the rest of the candidates are bought and paid for and are pulled by strings. This is why they show more excitement for him than any other supporters for any other candidate!
you're saying almost nothing. What exactly is your point in this parody?
My intuition tells me that you have a nihilistic tendency, in other words, why bother with politics since in the end big business and big government will win anyway. I'm glad The Founders didn't share that cowardly stance.
hah! look at my other stuff and you might decide otherwise, or look at theomaa dot org and see some stuff.. heck today i had a call with a fcc rep regarding a seious matter....but, since i did a parody im just a no good 420 sitaround all day person. But I think we know who is that...
Well that got a response. :D probably the longest one yet. The serious matter? net neutrality?
My theories on net neutrality have deemed me unable to make a choice about it. However, it does seem like the internet is doing fine without government intervention.
But, I realize that this is not a long-term solution. whats wrong with potsmokers and kool-aid?
The Armenians were fine w/o government intervention...then came the turks! kaboom!!! The recent sbc at n t merger only occured because of intervention that demanded they honor net neutrality for a few years or the feds wouldnt allow the merger to occur. Had it, they'd be ON their plan to turn the internet into what radio and tv now are. go to savetheinternet dot com to read everything on all this.
lmao.. save the internet dot com is run by.. guess what? A HUGE CORPORATION. there is no net neutrality provision right now, so there was no intervention that MADE anyone honor net neutrality. it was THE MARKET that made them do it.
and w/ regards to whats wrong with pot, nothing really....ive just always found hippies to be the most exclusionary non conformity linked to peer pressure dopes on the planet.
I always hear about Enron? Its one scandal. Think of all the scandals and corruptness in government. Government regulation has caused more lost jobs and corruptness that any capitalist scandal ever will.
He is a good guy but that is far from enough. He wants to take the teeth away from the regulators which is the absolute DREAM of big business. And this is no smear, it is a parody that came AFTER the disgusting Ron Paul supporters smeared me after I did a serious commentary on his anti net-neutrality stance....
wrong... I would argue that the Dream of big business is to use big government to funnel tax dollars into their business. How exactly would the teeth be taken away from regulators?
What he really is doing is starting a dialogue among people about how big the FEDERAL government should be.
Presently, what are the "teeth" of fed. regulators?
Aren't you just speculating? When you say he "will" hand over everything to big business, that's factual notation. Aren't you getting ahead of yourself, or can you look into the future? Oh, everything is already in the hands of big business, so not much to worry about. I guess I'm just another "itiotic" pothead. Yet another name caller, so boring.
Disinformation campaign, much? Ron Paul is for the PEOPLE, NOT The big corporations! That is why he is so hated and feared by the Washington Insiders!
I receive SO MUCH crap from Paul supporters written by spinoffs of the Heritage Foundation. All these stories about utopian towns run solely off of privatization and whatnot. Big Business does not fear Paul, they simply know that he's their man without them having to lift a finger.
i like the rain too. ive never seen anyone post so much on their own video. he doesnt want to outsource rain. he wants to leave it up to the states to control their own rain. why should the feds tell the states what to do with their own rain.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
I know we are at the stage where they fight Ron Paul, but is this the best they can do. He is too principled for scandal, so I guess they have no where to go. How wonderful for a change.
look ol girl, I did a serious commentary and the outlandish response from the Paul supporters was MUCH WORSE than I have ever experienced from the NEO CON dummies.
You are not what you think. Ron Paul is not the answer. He is like a bad Onion article entitled "Politician set to throw baby out with bathwater"
and its more like First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you utilize ctrl-c ctrl-v all over the damn internet like the rest of the ron paul potheads.....
as prez, ron paul would equalize & stimulate competition between big biz & avg american entrepreneurs...large corp are already in bed w/ gov & the only way to lessen their grip-hold on the economy/consumer is through ron paul...you are very confused my friend...that's not a personal strike, but re-evaluate your prospective (if your not too far gone)...his ONLY concern is for the individual (you & me), not the collective (big biz & gov)...keep thinking!
Its not hard to remove the people who aren't beholden to corporate interests, without going for a guy who will make it easier than ever for them... remember, tons of people all over the world in high positions were against the war in Iraq, and it happened and it was a disgusting affair. The system is too strong for people who just want things to be better, ie Ron Paul
Yes he hates corporations, I understand. There were a lot of people that hated genocide when the turks slaughtered a million and a half Armenians but that didn't prevent it from happening. Put away your cliche' pipe and think a bit...
Do you think anyone will take you serious, with your distorted focus, moving cameras, foreign music and mumbling? Is this some type of mind control psyops propaganda device? Say what you want to say or get out of the way. Ron Paul 2008 Hope For America
he is for the free market, not for governement incentives for certain industries over others. freedom man, i know we havent had it in a while but it is not a new concept
Yeah...neo80s, and watch and see how long RP remains alive. You made the point with JFK. No one's allowed to get even close to office, let alone close to action.
the fed is simply part of a bigger mechanism, even if we get rid of the fed the corproblem will remain, fractional reserve banking, banks create more than 95% of the money and then loan it at interest, to the governement and to the people. The issuing power shouldn't be delegated to private individuals but to the governement, governement should create 100% of the money = no more debt.
As long as we will let private bankers create money that they don't have we will never get out of debt, because we will always have to borrow money to pay the interest on money created out of thin air, the governement will only be the servant of bankers. Private banks are the problem. This subject is too complex to be discussed here, just understand that the fed is simply a smokescreen, part of a bigger mechanism.
I know what the Fed is a part of & I don't think ur going about it the right way and RP certainly isn't. Co-ops, local trade and alt. banking is the answer & it's being done even in the US,also MEX,CAN,URU,ARG,BRZL,CHL & that's just the Americas. Google: Maleny Coop or Damnahur. Watch Youtube:Power of Community.
Governement should issue all currency, not bank of america or other private institutions, we will never get out of debt and we will always have to borrow from these private banks because there will never be enough repay the loan plus interest, thanks to fractional reserve system bankers can lend 90% of the money at interest and keep 10% reserves, then this money well end in an other hand which will lend again 90% of this money, in the end private banks will create 90% of the money etc etc...

If that brain were to think like Paul or u i would not want it... if Paul were elected and impose laissez-faire this country would ruined... possibly forever.
DKfor08 4 years ago

He wants to reduce the incentives that give corporations reason to outsource, and he wants to create new ones that urge them to keep those jobs here.
psshhtmr2 4 years ago
You're leaving something out.
He wants states to compete against each other, to see who can supress workers the most....therefore big companies will want to locate in said states.
o0xst 4 years ago
what, I have no idea what you are talking about other than the fact that happens right now.
PizzaGod 4 years ago
Under the current system, we are giving the biggest tax breaks to corporations, and we are subsidizing them with our tax dollars.
The system at present is set up to help big business at the cost of the workers.
Agreements like NAFTA and WTO are a big part of it.
Research what you're talking about, before you attempt to speak on it with authority.
You couldnt be more wrong, Paul for big business???
Then why is the Corporate controlled MSM smearing him at every turn?
KIDiotequeA 4 years ago
Because they are idiots.
Paul will completely deregulate everything and then big business will find new ways to do things, and more sinister. Just look at the Reagan years.
o0xst 4 years ago
yea the Reagan years, the years of more regulation than any president till that time. Check your facts. [btw Bush now has more new regulations than any president]
PizzaGod 4 years ago
yes, regulation supporting big business!
Once again, I think your missing the point,
Regulation is not inherently good or bad, it's how it is used and what it is being used for that determines this.
Check your logic, :)
I don't think anyone here is trying to support Bush, he decreases taxes, then spends more...

My question for Ron Paul, although I haven't quite forged it yet, would be basically how he equates corporate liberty with individual liberty, and how he sees it as a good thing for American workers to compete with people making $1 a day. I would also ask Ron Paul if he has ever read "Grapes of Wrath" and, if so, does he feel it represents the negative side of liberty.
rpaul5150 4 years ago
In addition, Ron Paul has voted 3 times to increase the number of foreign workers allowed into the country.
I'd like to quit the liberty rhetoric now and begin discussing reality.
rpaul5150 4 years ago
might also ask him about the whole "let the states decide" thing.
That'll no doubt lead to great suppression of the working class that hasn't been seen since the days of the Ludlow Massacres.

rpaul5150 4 years ago
Of course there's a lack..he's running for prez.
He's a laissez-faire capitalist..nuf said. There'd be a real revolt if the country went his way. And, maybe he wldn't invoke the Patriot Act ..he'd just hire some Pinkerton goons...the true free-market way. It's amazing how many people are so truly ignorant about this guy.
notiteither 4 years ago
thanks for bringing up the topic oOxst even if it was somewhat obscure to me. I have been looking at this and here are some of my research data to date:
rpaul5150 4 years ago
"Outsourcing is a reflection of a bad economic environment domestically. If you fix that, you fix outsourcing. Our primary export is paper money, and that should change if you change the monetary policy. We should drop the Overseas Investment Protection Corporation -- which makes taxpayers cover losses for U.S. companies doing business in foreign countries -- have a sound currency and lower taxes. With that we could become competitive again, but that is going to be very very difficult." Ron Paul
rpaul5150 4 years ago
what is "Overseas Investment Protection Corporation". I did a search on it and only found 1 ref which was some wierd pdf. "Bad economic enviroment domestically" is the reason they outsource? NO WAY! they do it to make more money!
rpaul5150 4 years ago

DUH!

dr. ron paul does not want you to follow him. he wants you to be informed and make decisions before you go to vote. paul will be the first to tell you the leaders at the highest level are most responsible to the voter at his lowest level constitutionally, the individual rights.
it's accountability and honesty about what the office is.

nothings perfect
o0xst 4 years ago
I'm sure this has been stated countless times before, but I don't want to see Paul supporters at each others throats over misunderstandings. The libertarian argument is that government interference in the market actually benefits corporations by giving some advantages over others. The most blatant example is subsidies, but even universal regulations that effect every business in a market can hurt the smaller businesses more than the big ones who have the capital to survive.

you're saying almost nothing. What exactly is your point in this parody?

o0xst 4 years ago
Well that got a response. :D probably the longest one yet. The serious matter? net neutrality?
My theories on net neutrality have deemed me unable to make a choice about it. However, it does seem like the internet is doing fine without government intervention.
But, I realize that this is not a long-term solution. whats wrong with potsmokers and kool-aid?
ParapaDrifter 4 years ago
The Armenians were fine w/o government intervention...then came the turks! kaboom!!! o0xst 4 years ago
wrong... I would argue that the Dream of big business is to use big government to funnel tax dollars into their business. How exactly would the teeth be taken away from regulators?

the fed is simply part of a bigger mechanism, even if we get rid of the fed the corproblem will remain, fractional reserve banking, banks create more than 95% of the money and then loan it at interest, to the governement and to the people. The issuing power shouldn't be delegated to private individuals but to the governement, governement should create 100% of the money = no more debt.
rzrzky 4 years ago
As long as we will let private bankers create money that they don't have we will never get out of debt, because we will always have to borrow money to pay the interest on money created out of thin air, the governement will only be the servant of bankers. Private banks are the problem. This subject is too complex to be discussed here, just understand that the fed is simply a smokescreen, part of a bigger mechanism.
