Lol i have a tip. (even though I have NEVER encountered a deoxys.)

First have a shedinja.

Second, Let it learn false swipe (be sure it really learns before nincada evolves!)

Third, Atleast get his hp to 1 and let it sleep, paralyz or something that will make it be caught easier. Lol this much i can possibly give. sorry! (Learned it just now! Trying to get a plan if i get a Action Replay in future!)
