On this supersize vs superskinny video there is an attractive skinny guy making criticisms to a fat guy and on another video there is an attractive skinny girl doing the same thing. They are both doing this because that's what they are in the feeding clinic to do. Why is it that on the other video people are saying the girl is mean and ugly while in this video people are saying they want to fuck the guy?

@mesCheerios That's because of the tone, the way the small people "criticize" the big people. It depends, which episode are you talking about? I remember there was this one episode where the small girl's tone came off to be rather stuck up and insulting rather than intending to help; whereas in this case, the small guy, Dale, seemed to genuinely want to help.

It's also how you view it. :)

@addicted2music07 Indeed, it's quite bizarre. I actually am from the U.S. and the thing is - yes - there is a huge amount of obesity here, but not everyone is that heavy. Really. I think a very average weight would be around 140 - 210 lbs. At least where I live. I've heard it's a lot worse in other states.

@SharpenedToungue I think the show tends to involve obese people from US not because it is the only country in the world dealing with this problem ( they easily could find seriously obese persons in Germany or Greece or Russia or Italy) but mainly because of the "consciousness" America is developing about weight problems in the last years, and also for them sharing some cultural elements- the common language first- with the Brits.

@EvangelineBo watch what the supersizers eat. 99% of the time it's processed carbs/sugars. Your apple and nuts pack a lot of fiber, some water even probably a bit of protein so it's definitely going to be filling. But the pasties, the sugared beans in the fry-ups, and lets not forget that soda spike the insulin. A supersizer is more than likely already having issues with insulin so it makes them hungry in no time flat.

@EvangelineBo Yeah. I had about that much to eat for breakfast when I was in Scotland on a holiday. But the breakfast was at 8, I walked all day, sometimes up hills and such, next I ate at 3pm and often a cracker that I had on me. Now that I'm home and working on a computer, I have a bit of whole-wheat cereal, coffee and some vegetables or fruit.
