If you can't wall yourself off in time, a rush will almost certainly kill you. BoxeR might have also predicted a 12 Hatchery, because it is very likely on this map, since a Zerg expansion can't be rushed by a Terran opponent. Well, too much mindgame and a little luck for Jae Dong that he spawned right next to him would eventually lead to this outcome.

@ALUCARDuae well no, it isn't that imbalanced for terran, but it is just risky to play a Command Center before you build any Barracks. He could have easily held this rush off if he did a standard opening with an earlier Barracks. But you usually don't expect rushes on this map, since it really favors getting a fast expansion (because it is safe early on, so why not get it?). He expected Jaedong to not rush, which was the reason he thought he could safely expand even before getting a Barracks.

@1349j that's starcraft 2, BW is much different. In sc 2, you could pull of a 14-16 cc versus zerg and be okay except to 1 hatch busts. BW a 14 cc is almost guarantee loss to 10 pool, and almost hard countered by 12 pool
