Do the Republicans know that homeless people exist? For Mitt Romney $10,000 is a small bet. For most people it is a down payment on a car that they will pay interest for.

Sometimes I think living in a tent in the woods is preferable to being told what you can or can't have in your own front yard. I am impressed with what seems to be civility and neighborly respect there in your "tent city". Do you ever have fighting/arguments?

UMM, they have roosters? to keep them company, you say? well, they need to get some hens, and then they will have eggs, and more chickens, for FOOD. not just for alarm clocks.

Seriously, when will america stop hating the poor and something called SOCIAL PROGRAMS? 1) fund them 2) monitor them and make them cost effective , stop handing billions to stupid corrupt nonprofits and block grants without any strings attached. PERFORMANCE and frugality, low paid admin, should be required.
