Thats a good question actually. He appeared at the bottom of the Tower and i guess he just decided to come up.

@ValkyrieFreyaAngel Um, actually I think the boat is just an inanimate object. Notice how he's stiff and doesn't move at all. The King probably possessed it or something, seeing as he is a ghost and all.

I beat Ganon yesterday.. MY FIRST ZELDA GAME BEATEN!!!

Nah it wasnt too much. Remember in OOT Link slashes Ganon in the head 3 times then stabs him in the forehead.
