watching this made me remember a great booki read; Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano. anybody interested in the way latin america has been exploited since Colombo should check it out. thanks again dharmamarx

This is one of the best documentary/revolutionary films of all time. La Hora de los Hornos is the epitome of neocolonialism. I find the focus on Che Guevera's face a resonance of his martyrdom and figurative immortality granted by the revolution.

It's the end of part I of the film. The freeze frame of Che's face is a legendary ending. You're supposed to look into Che's face and reflect on his sacrifices for you. (Kind of idolatrous isn't it?) And in doing so you'll stare death in the face, like Che did; so you'll be willing to sacrifice yourself for the revolution. How much you wanna bet that posting this video just got the FBI to open a file on me?
