I saw VH in 2004 in the beginning of that tour and they were great... Eddie wasn't trashed and played excellent when I saw them. I saw Aerosmith in 2001 the 2nd night of their tour, and I saw Metallica in 2004.
The dance moves that Dave pulls off during the interlude are extremely gay, but this is a well done version of this song. Eddie's vocals are pretty well done, despite what jem7772 says.
I was at this concert in Rhode Island before I graduated, looking back to this now, I dont think they're cut out for it anymore. But no matter what Van Halen will always be one of my top 3 favorite bands along with AC/DC and Aerosmith. I wish I was back in the great era of "real" music unlike the shitty rap and hip hop music everybodys into these days with NO feeling what so ever, just crappy money talking music compared to actual music if you ask me.
anyone who thinks this sounds good is on heavy drugs !!! Ed is so out of tune and time hes on another planet !!! Poor Alex trying to hold it all together !!!
I think the choice of stage in the shape of a dollar sign ($) is somewhat of a subliminal message. maybe an omage to the prinicple reason for getting all the huge egos together. I just want to go back to 1979 and really get my money's worth instead of some geriatrics trying to make one last killing. $250 for nosebleed. Thanks a lot Eddie. Mike's not even part of the line-up.
Hope they release this tour on video, cuz its hard to watch with crowd noise. No offenseto GOTAX66, but there's no way to take it out with a home camera
Cool to hear Wolfie's voice up front. He may not have the power of MA, but he hits the notes. No piping in here. Watch the part when Wolf continues to sing and Eddie eventually comes in. It's obvious they are singing live.

2007-08 was the highest grossing Van Halen tour of all time........just more proof that Diamond Roth in Halen will always draw huge crowds.

Well he's always got the last two , and you need tp catch him on a good day for the first one. He'still cool, though.

yes, Wolfie held up to the challenge, but i dont think anybody can truly fill Michael Anthony's shoes vocally or in a bass

Yeah. It's nice that he's brave enough to go up there at sixteen years old. Hit's the vocals good too.
