  • so paul mccartny is definitely NOT dead rite because at school our teach made us read a story that at the very end of "strawberry feilds forever the music video" it says "i buried paul " and in "universial nine "played back wards sounds like " turn me on dead man" and its reall y creepy try listening to it u will see see if it sounds like that

  • @iheartsasukeluv its revolution 9 just sayin..

  • Terrific guitar arrangement - still sounds fresh today

  • I love this song, Band on The PAUL

  • Those fancy trills that Wicks plays just don't sound right. Keep it simple!

  • happy birth day john

  • @rushfanatik1 Wrong Beatle.

  • awesome! I love this song! LOVE IT!

  • UM HOMEM, UMA OBRA, UM GÊNIO NA VERDADE NÃO HÁ DEFINIÇÕES.....REVOLUCIONOU A MUSICA DEVIDO A SEU TALENTO

    INIGUALAVEL...............

  • i had a tab open with the lyrics, i forgot this was live

  • cant believe paul can still sing like that

  • I saw this tour in Sacramento, CA. What a performer. The best.

  • WONDERFUL song. paul's still got it!!! :)

  • @drumrush0001

Paul McCartney's band in my mind - you know, Wings - will always be him with his wife Linda (died 1998) and Denny Laine. I can't speak for the drummer and other guitarist because those two slots are left to be desired. Linda's role in Wings was primarily keyboards and synthesizers.

  • @preretired

    69.

  • I am surprised no one ever talks about the synthesizer solos heard in the first two parts of this song.

  • wolf paul

  • beatles were legend and the guys still had something going with that song!

  • thumbs up if you think Paul mcCartney is the greatest artist ever.

  • one of my favorite songs :D

  • Paul McCartney is no god, or anything immortal.

He is just a regular guy, who just had more outspeak than anyone

    And I love him.

  • i grew up with this song!!! genius!!!

  • very good I like Paul McCartney is a icon for the english music

  • He's a genius god.

  • I really wish I was alive in the 60's so I could have seen him with the rest of The Beatles. But Paul McCartney himself is just fantastic! He has left his mark in history. No one will ever forget him.

  • Yesterday, Paul played this for me and 50 000 people more. I'll never forget it.

  • for a big guy, Abe Laboriel, Jr. has a gentle touch on the drums.

  • Gênio!

  • 6 dumbasses missed the damn like button

  • simplementhe el mejor.....

  • simplementhe el mejor.....

  • Never seeing noone nice again... =[ Like you, muma

  • Fuck Off? That quite clearly shows you cant think of anything else. I like him, you clearly don't, so why dont you leave us in peace? Paul was awarded a doctorate of music for nothing short of his "musical genius," as an award citation explained it.

"Your songs awakened a generation, giving a fresh sound to rock, roll, rhythm and blues," University President Richard Levin told McCartney. "Here, there and everywhere, you have pushed the boundaries of the familiar to create new classics."

  • @davyjones800 Paul's doctorate is Honorary - it isn't worth the paper it is written on since he never studied music, can't read music and if you call him a genius then you might as well call anyone a music genius

  • @poorrabbit68 <-----poor thing, still so obviously jealous of paul. Denial will just expose you more, so don't deny it. My advice- start attempting to build your own life. It's sad to see your attempt to belittle the composer/singer's accomplishments in a failed attempt to feel somehow important . You might just as well stand at the shore of the Pacific ocean and babble daily as to how it's not wet- while others look on and actaully feel sorry for you :(

  • @prabbit68 Paul added yet another accolade to his unparalleled list of achievements, as he was awarded with the statue for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on the 13th March. The Grammy went to the live version of "Helter Skelter" from the Good Evening New York City.

  • @davyjones800 I am not knocking Paul's achievements in fact much of his musicn is great - however Paul is simply not a music genius - full stop

  • @prabbit68 well look, he's the only one to have reached many levels of music, in the same way that Beethoven and Mozart reached into new styles and created their own masterpiece's. This man is one of a small group of individuals in the musical genius category, his music was described as "way ahead of it's time", and he is top of his category of Pop music - because he practically INVENTED it

  • @davyjones800 sorry but Paul McCartney is not a genius in fact the literature all supports this basic contention - Paul is great but not a genius - so what ? that doesn't change his music - he does not have to be a genius and he isn't a genius

  • @prabbit68 really? Funny, cos there are very few that are even close to his level in music, there are people who do different styles of music on the same level in their categories, but Paul is and always has been the most successful musician in Pop Music History for a REASON... that reason.. he's a genius, he was able to make music that other artists couldn't even have wild thoughts of, made songs that got inside people and changed moods and thoughts as to how the song was going.

  • @davyjones800 success is not a measure of genius

  • @prabbit68 I've had enough of you... what IS a measure of genius? Now obviously your just going to try and think of things McCartney can't do and base it all around them - eg not reading music.... but please carry on...

  • @davyjones800 it is not a question of what things Paul McCartney can or cannot do but a measure of how well he does them - a genius is the highest level of intellectual achievement - Paul just hasn't reached that level

  • @prabbit68 What IS a measure of genius..? That's all I asked - maybe you could just answer a question for once...

  • @davyjones800 I told you - genius is the highest level of intellectual achievement - Paul's music does not qualify

  • @prabbit68 Tell me then... who in Pop Music has a higher level?

  • @davyjones800 your question is irrelevant since pop music is a limited medium

  • @prabbit68 Exactly... he's top of it, he pretty much INVENTED it, his music has touched millions of people all the way round the world, his success proves that people loved his music above others and that he was writing and playing songs so well that so many people loved his music, because it affected them and made a massive impact on their lives due to it's simple brilliance.

  • @davyjones800 absolute rubbish - the Beatles is not Paul copied many American popular music stars eg Chuck berry etc etc and they developed their own style - on his own Paul did nothing inspirational - he is no genius fact

  • @prabbit68 You don't know much about Beatles. Paul, John and George composed separately. The singer, the writer, except for Getting better. Toughest part in composition is not orchestration and arrangement, that you can learn, but writing a good melody. Some would kill to write stuff like Yesterday, Here there & e, Got to get you, Eleanor Rigby or Penny lane, all from Paul alone. If you had ever tried to compose, you 'd know some songs are pure genius, with a lot of work to complete.

  • @alonzopajo yeh...yeh...yeh....zzzzz...snooze......"some songs are pure genius"....hee ....hee..hee...snooze

  • @prabbit68 In fact his not reading of music which you continue to criticize just increases his level of genius. He was not tutored or taught anything. Everything to do with music he taught himself. Both him and John, when composing seperately or together, never wrote their songs down... they learned them in their heads and he STILL plays every song perfectly, his genius ability just comes naturally to him...

  • @davyjones800 hee...hee...haw......"increases his level of genius"..hee hee hee

  • @prabbit68 I love how you don't have a reply - so you just laugh...

  • @davyjones800 hee....hee...haw...Paul a genius? ...hee hee haw...haww

  • @alonzopajo No they didn't all compose separately. You ever heard of a lot of Beatles songs wrote by Lennon/McCartney. Just scrapped your Beatles theory. Seems like you don't know much about Beatles ;)

  • @prabbit68 You are unbelievable... have you ever wondered why "Yesterday" is THE most covered song in the history of music?

  • @prabbit68 Wrong definition. Genius is a gift, can be a lethal burden, as Jung put it. But Paul is good at the supreme art : living. And still on stage after so many gigs, beloved by his staff, respected by jazz musicisians who use his compositions as standards. Reset.

  • @prabbit68 shut the fuck up smartass and just sit back and enjoy the song

  • @AdiVaporsSuperflyF50 what does the 50 stand for? your IQ or your age? - probably both I'd imagine, I enjoy Paul's music probably more than you but my argument is not about that - I simply said there is not enough evidence to say Paul is a genius - he simply has not the highest intellectual music achievement

  • @prabbit68 ok hes not a genious..hes a badass

  • @prabbit68 Hey Asshole, if you do win this argument, what do you get? You get nothing. There's no point for this argument and who cares if he was a genius or not. He and his 3 lads from Liverpool still made a defining mark in music history. He is a genius to all of us and you cannot change our opinions.

  • @onealan100 defining mark is not a measure of genius - if you think Paul is a genius then anyone might as well be a genius

  • @prabbit68 GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! STOP REPEATING THINGS TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE!!!!!! Accept a simple fact for once in your life - YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!

  • @davyjones800 wrong? don't think so - in fact you have little idea on the topic - you should accept the fact Paul McC is no genius

  • @prabbit68 Yes, wrong, I do know so - in fact - You're the one with no idea on the topic - you should accept that Paul McC is right at the top in his areas of music - why do you think his sales are ridiculously high? Answer - Because he was genius enough to be able to write amazing songs, that almost EVERYONE loved. Even loads of the people who don't even like him, like at least one of his songs

  • @davyjones800 popularity and sales is not a function of genius - when are you going to learn???

  • @prabbit68 Why do you think he was knighted by the Queen? Because of his contributions to the music industry. He is the most successful musician and composer in popular music history with 60 gold discs and 100 million singles to date. His song "yesterday" is the most covered song in history with over 3,700 artists copying it so far. Primarily due to the fact that his music is still on the next level of incredible... and other artists still cover them rather than trying to make their own songs

  • @davyjones800 you don't listen - popularity, fame or success is not a function or measure of genius ability - Yesterday is popular so what ?? it is not the work of a genius - Paul McC is not a genius

  • @davyjones800 I don't care if Paul McC was f....by the Queen - you have not proven anything - you are a dismal failure who cannot prove anything - Paul is no genius

  • @prabbit68 Dismal failure? At least I can read and understand a word in a dictionary... So if it isn't to entertain people - what is the purpose of music???

  • @davyjones800 I seriously doubt whether you understand anything

  • He's not a genius. He's a god alive.

  • @Guimloth maybe these people are some kind of angels sending to us to make life easier....but also they dont know at all.

  • Just enjoy the friggin music. Assholes.

  • @Iremike100 Paul is not a genius

  • @prabbit68 HAHAHAHAHA! You STILL haven't replied to me! Stuck are we???

  • @prabbit68 I hope that's not the end of your thought.

  • @Iremike100 This debate about Paul, genius or not genius, makes me think of drummers discussing how many strokes you can put in a quarter note without specifying the tempo. But it's more interesting than "OMG, my parents called me Brandon because of this song !" We are here to talk about music between the moments where we play it. Otherwise why leave a comment ?

  • Paul McCartney is one of the most talented musicians of all time, great bass player/guitarist. Plays a lot more instruments than your average session musician and is of course the most successful musician of all time. Anyone who says he's not in the category of music god doesn't deserve the be listening to the same song as me.

  • PhilAroundhits, you should study music a little bit.

Who is a music genius for you??

ah... in this video he sounds like sick , but still awesome!

  • @mazzardao Your comment doesn't make sense. Seems young people don't read carefully before writing. I put a statement a week ago. Musicians usually agree to say Bach and Stravinsky are the two greatest composers in occidental music, but there's a lot of guys who deserve to be known from Guillaume de Machaut to Pat Metheny. I don't dispense genius titles, I just say Macca is an impressive composer, even if there's nothing to invent in tonal music since the early XXth.

  • @prabbit68 I noticed you have failed to reply to my last comment... given up fighting me have you!?! Smart move :)

  • @prabbit68

Well if just ANYONE was a genius, we all would be half as talented and fuckin famous as Paul. Now what the hell r u trying to prove? Paul McCartney is awesome and no one can deny that. If they did, they would have to be retarded just like urself. If u didnt think paul was a genius then why the hell did u even look up this song or band or however u came across this vid? Just find something better to do than bag on one of the greatest musicians to live. U r not gonna win this war.

  • simplemente un monstruo!!!!

  • Every time I listen to Paul I get mixed fellings. I am very happy to have him still with us and his music. But I get sad to know that he could have played with John (I am sure of than), and the other two before George departs for natural reason. I would be totally crazy happy to see The Beatles together in the 80's 90's or even now. Good to have Paul and long live to him. Forever John Lennon and George Harrison.

  • ojala llegues al peru no me puedo ir de sta vidasin ir a un concierto tuyo maestro

  • @prabbit68

You are a hoe who, as davyjones800 has pointed out. You need to get a life. If it wasn't for Mr. Paul McCartney, you wouldn't be listening to the , music you do now so up yours. If you think you are impressing anyone, you're not.

  • @HaloRipper666 SIR Paul McCartney* LOL Iv been arguing with him for over 20 pages, looks like he's finally realised no-one agrees with him...

  • @HaloRipper666 maybe so but that is true for many musicians not just for Paul McCartney - Paul is not a music genius

  • mini epic prog song... one of my favourites by Sir Paul.

  • PAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUL

  • Paul McCartney on the Maidan. In Kyiv. Dream come true.

  • Thank you fpr posting this. I grew up on him and many wonderful artists. Music sure does change, just as people do.

  • @davyjones800 there are many autisitic people with exceptional music skills and ability to play multiple instruments therefore that is not a measure of genius - ability to read & write music is a measure of music genius which many gifted geniuses begin to show at very early age - many brilliant musicians were child prodigies eg Mozart sets benchmark of genius

  • @prabbit68 "there are many autisitic people with exceptional music skills and ability to play multiple instruments" There are many music genius' then - what you CONSIDER to be "measure of genius" is wrong - PMc plays pretty much every instrument there is, he played very complex guitar, and The Beatles music was considered by most to be "way ahead of it's time" None of the other 60's bands knew how they were doing it. So now your saying - if I can read and write music, im suddenly a genius?!?!?

  • @davyjones800 Paul is limited since he cannot read music - playing multiple instruments without ability to read music is not genius since autisitc people can do it too - abilty to read music is a PREREQUISITE to genius

  • @prabbit68 right, being able to read musc is not the only thing on the planet that makes someone a genius, which is basically what you are saying, and once again YOU ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING THE DEFENITION OF GENIUS!!! Paul has more than exceptional skill in a particular area of activity - only a fool would question it....

  • @davyjones800 no one would argue Paul has exceptional skill however he does not have the highest intellectual level of achievement in music - the fact he cannot read music shows he is no genius

  • @prabbit68 YOU JUST SAID IT!! Paul has exceptional skill - defenition of genius

  • @davyjones800 yes but he is no genius - if you call Paul a genius then you might as well call anyone a genius

  • @prabbit68 you're now contradicting yourself - you say he has exceptional skill - which is the DEFENITION (What the word means) of genius, but now you say he isn't a genius, but you just said he has more than exceptional skill - which makes him a genius as that's what the word genius MEANS!?!?!? Call Anyone a genius? I'v never met anyone in my life that is as brilliant as him at what he does, and somehow - i doubt i ever will

  • @davyjones800 there are many musicians with exceptional skill - quit kiddin yourself - Paul is not the highest of the music intellects - that is obvious even to 5th grader

  • @prabbit68 I didn't say he was THE highest, although he is one of them, many artists have tried to do things the way he did. The Beatles set the template for almost all of the music onwards from ther time - they were making music way ahead of it's time, and they brought entirely new styles into music and that was what many other artists based their music on, and still do today whether they realise or not

  • @davyjones800 okay - every one knows Paul has used and relies heavily on the former fame of the Beatles - in fact if he appeared on stage today without his former fame no one would even listen - fact is Paul has not shown any real innate intellectual ability that comes even close to the music genius benchmark

  • @prabbit68 AGAIN, you say he would be nothing without his Beatle fame - prove it... more to the point, unless you have a time machine, he will always have his Beatle fame, so its pointless saying what WOULD have happened without it... By the way, McCartney was one of the 4 rare pieces that fitted together to create the biggest band of all time, without him, they would probably never have got nearly as far, Lennon and him were 2 genius's that fitted together to form a formidable engine of music

  • @davyjones800 listen fuckwit the onus is on you to prove Paul is a genius since there are no official statements or references, epitephs or informed opinions making no claims about Paul - in the absence of such evidence the matter is closed - Paul is no genius and neither are you

  • @prabbit68 i dont have to PROVE anything - you just need to read - You cannot argue fact, Paul easily fits the DEFENITION of genius, although im not sure you understand the defenition of the word "defenition"... and when did i say i was a genius? I am NOTHING aside Sir Paul, and neither are you. Feel free to go away now...Goodbye

  • @davyjones800 Definition.

  • @davyjones800 you don't have proof because there is no proof, no official statements, no learned opinions etc that is why it is safe to say Paul McCartney is not a music genius

  • @prabbit68 I don't NEED proof - The "definition" of genius is filled in by Paul - do you know what the word definition means?

  • @davyjones800 you are indeed an idiot wasting my time - fuck off - Paul is no genius and neither you or anyone can prove he has genius because there is no genius ability in his music

  • @prabbit68 Fuck Off? That clearly shows you cant think of anything else.

  • @prabbit68 What's the standard for genius ? Bach or Stevie Wonder ? Since Stravinsky, nothing can be invented in tonal music. Even Duke or Bird didn't create new chords. Bach, Wagner, Ravel did. Only Coltrane set new limits. But when you know music, and you look at Penny lane, Eleanor Rigby or Yesterday, you just say "Wow ! This guy is something". I've seen musicians, sight reading sheets on piano, totally blowed by the beauty of Paul's tunes. Genius, I don't know, but a great man for sure...

  • @PhilAroundhits if you call Paul a genius then you might as well call anyone a genius - the benchmark of music genius is the highest intellectual achievment which Paul falls very much short

  • @prabbit68 Obviously, you didn't understand what I wrote. You should learn to read. That would be a smart start before studying music.

  • @PhilAroundhits Paul McCartney is not a music genius - he has not reached the highest of intellectual levels of achievement to warrant such a title

  • @prabbit68 your comment is meaningless and you're not qualified to make such a judgement

  • @MrsBirminghamInHell rubbish - check your references - there is a major lack of qualified opinion that does not suggest Paul McCartney is a music genius - he is not a genius

  • @prabbit68 you're too bored and too silly

  • @MrsBirminghamInHell no I disagree with you - in any event Paul McCartney is not a genius

  • @prabbit68 he's so obviously someone you envy.

  • @prabbit68 hey listen Yoko, get over it. Hating on paul will not bring john back

  • @prabbit68 "exceptional skill in a particular area of activity" that is part of the DEFINITION genius... So skill playing instruments very well is genius. But u say it's impossible to be a genius unless u can READ MUSIC? He messes around with instruments, Making some of the most successful songs ever, without even writing the composition down fills in the exceptional intelligence bit

  • Paul McC may be awesome, successful, etc but he is not a music genius, sad but true

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @prabbit68 I don't really know what "genius" means. If it means a man who makes perfect music all the time, no, of course he is not a genius. Lennon didn't always make perfect music either, so I guess we can't call him a genius. So, the point is I don't use and I don't like that word. Who cares if anybody is a genius or not? What's obvious is that Mc Cartney, Lennon and so many people have made great and timeless music, and I like to focus on the best part of their production. It's simple.

  • @prabbit68 I mean, why is that sad? Here we have a man with a real passion in his life: making music. He wrote many great and timeless songs that have had influence in several generations. Do you really need him to be a genius? I mean, he connected with his passion and made great things with it. There are many people out there with the potential to do what these Liverpool guys did, but they don't do it. So the great thing about them is they did it. That's why we admire these guys so much.

  • @prabbit68 I'm sorry but I think you're wrong.

Look at maybe i'm amazed, yesterday, hey jude, eleanor rigby, a day in the life (mostly john's I know but he wrote some of it), jet, helter skelter, live and let die, let it be, Here, There, and Everywhere, and i love her, lovely rita, blackbird etc etc....

All of those songs are just brilliant, and I mean he even found his way into the writing credits of the most successful album ever (thriller!).

  • @Drenwickification all those songs are not examples of genius - sorry - rather than invent stories why not do some basic research

  • @prabbit68 What? Invent stories? What are you talking about?

So what you think I should so research to see what other people think of those songs and then base my opinions on other people's opinions? That's a bit stupid...

And anyway, if I was to go by your logic I'd still think Paul was a genius because if I did research I would find that Paul is widely considered by critics as one of the greatest songwriters ever.

  • @Drenwickification research genius - it is the highest intellectual level of human achievement - unfortunately PMcC is no genius

  • @prabbit68 Oxford English Dictionary:

Genius: an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skill in a particular area of activity:

Yes, I thought that was what genius meant, and I still think Paul is one.

  • @Drenwickification you "think" is not enough - where is your proof?

  • @prabbit68 It is my opinion that he is a genius, and you can ONLY base that on what you think. I think he is a brilliant musician therefore I think he is a genius.

Your asking me to do something impossible because you cant "prove" your opinion.

  • @Drenwickification your "opinion" does not qualify - the onus is on you to prove PMcC is a genius

  • @Drenwickification HAHAHA I LOVE YOU!!

    "Oxford English Dictionary:

Genius: an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skill in a particular area of activity:"

You just made me laugh! You don't have to prove anything, Being THE most sucessful musician and composer in Pop Music History, you don't have to prove Paul genius, he has achieved many things that NO other artist has even come CLOSE to... that sounds like alot more than exceptional in a particular area of activity

  • @prabbit68 For your own good - GO AWAY... You clearly don't understand the definition that Drenwickification gave you - so i shall repeat it too...

    Oxford English Dictionary:

Genius: an exceptionally intelligent person or one with exceptional skill in a particular area of activity:

Exceptionally intelligent - being able to write the songs he has - yep...

Exceptional skill in a particular area of activity - playing almost any instrument and singing brilliantly - yep...

  • @davyjones800 surely you do not consider Paul McC possessing "exceptional intelligence" do you??? - he cannot read music and "playing any instrument and singing briliantly" is not a measure of genius

  • すごいですね!!マッカートニー大好き!!

  • Wonderful <3

  • 5 motherfuckers dislike

  • amazing, this guy still has the same voice as in the 60's

  • @desenreda I know what you're saying but he wrote this in the 70's lol

  • See this is why Paul is so awesome. Stars today that write lame music need to use tons of auto-tuning and have to wear earpieces to make themselves sound good. Paul doesn't. Plus he's a lot older and still sounds good.

  • Very great song. I love it.

  • mccartney and lennon wrote most of the beatles songs, TOGETHER.

that's how they are both musical geniuses, they opened the door for so many other artist to come into the states and get the recognition they deserved.

not to mention they opened the door to alot of the current rock/pop music you listen to now, without paul, john, george and ringo, music would be complete shit today.

p.s. mozart blew nuts, beethoven shit all over him.

  • @prabbit68 if if if... Guess what, Paul is never going to appear on staff without his former Beatle fame, so WHY are you saying what COULD have happened? It never has and never will happen... And for the 5 millionth time, who on Earth is a genius if Sir Paul isn't??

  • @davyjones800 guess what - seems the simple hypothetical question is too hard for you?? - for the 5 millionth time Paul writes simple catchy tunes - his music is light years from genius benchmark

  • @prabbit68 compared to most of the music today most people would consider this to be genius music

where do you come from to say who is and who isnt a genius

are you mad that you cant be as good as him?

seriously dude this isnt your Justin Beiber shit this is real music so you should be lucky you are hearing it

  • @LastMartyrX "consider" does not make Paul a genius - Paul McCartney is good but his music is nothing special and definitely not the work of a genius -

  • @prabbit68 nothing special? Please carry on - what is more special than his music........??

  • @prabbit68

songs like yesterday shows he is a genius

  • @LCPD9111 Yesterday is a Lennon & McCartney song performed by Beatles who are considered brilliant not geniuses - it shows McCartney relies heavily on former Beatle fame which he has never surpassed

  • @prabbit68 You couldn't be more wrong with this comment. Lennon had absolutely nothing to do with Yesterday. It was purely created by Paul. It was only credited as a Lennon/McCartney song due to publishing. The other 3 Beatles played no part in it. "Relies heavily on former Beatle fame" Is also horrible. 4 words. Band On The Run. The song you're listening to as you read this comment. Re-Released twice, once in 99, again in '10. Went to number one in multiple countries. Get your facts right.

  • @prabbit68

lennon had nothing to do with yesterday you piece of shit. It's a McMacrtney solo stupid lmao

  • @LCPD9111 Yesterday is a Lennon & mCcartney tune, on paper, and the solo performance is nothing special - irrespective of your inane and fruitless comments there is no "genius" in that tune??? - in fact McCartney can't even read music has most of his stuff written for him - if you think he is a genius then prove it

  • @prabbit68

well then why don't you go to my channel watch the video and that will prove the point about yesterday. What do you mean most of his stuff is written for him. He writes all of his songs with lennone unlike some artisst

  • @LCPD9111 If anybody knows just a little bit about Lennon/Mc Cartney it's pretty obvious which ones are Paul's songs and which ones are John's. Yes, they used to write together, but just a few songs are 50/50. Most of them are 80/20 (if so). Example: Yesterday, Helter Skelter, I've Got a Feeling, Hey Jude, Let it Be, All my Loving, etc. (Paul's) and Strawberry Fields, Come Together, Yer Blues, Revolution, Lucy in the Sky... (Lennon's).

  • @julian1775

ye i can now tell if lennon is the lead singer or mccartney

  • @prabbit68 there is nothing genius about Yesterday - you still have not proven Paul is a genius - my guess is he does not even make it half way up the intellectual ladder of music geniuses like Mozart

  • @prabbit68 Paul McCartney is today's Mozart. He's been playin fer over 40 years and still fills the hearts of thise that listen. Mozart had his day. Big bands had theirs. Give Paul his. Soon a ney great will come and last 40 years

  • @prabbit68

mozart is completely differnt to paul. Ok then which artists do you think are genius

  • @prabbit68 john or the other beatles had nothing to do with yesterday. It was just paul and he wrote it all on his own. Check the video on my channel if you don't believe me ass whipe

  • @prabbit68 oh - here we go - back to Mozart - is he seriously the only musical genius you can think of? If so - you're making yourself look even more stupid... so PLEASE tell us what makes you think Mozart is a genius. And since when does ANY artist NEED to read music - Paul just picks up instruments - messes about til he has a tune and makes a song with it

  • @davyjones800 Mozart was composing when he was 4. 4 years old. You may not think he's a genius, but I do.

  • @TheMasterOfLols When exactly did i say Mozart was not a genius?

  • @prabbit68 Paul can't read music, Paul doesn't need to read music. He's amazing, and he is an amazing song writer. If you don't think so, go away.

And Paul wrote his songs, most with John. No one wrote them for him, they were written together. If listening to some of his songs isn't proof he's a genius, I don't know what is.
