@mb1907953 Back then GoPro did not provide the surf mount that sticks to the boards yet, I used basic duct tape wrapping it around the nose of the board several times.

Not recommendable for a hardcore wave session though

@xellyxbellyx If you say so. Carbon is lighter and stiffer - perfect for boards and rigs (again, look at this one flex, ruining the sail shape in each gust). Every now and then one will randomly break due to a micro fracture but that is a side effect of mass production and transit. Other breakages are your own fault for falling hard ;)

@Gusdor but, on average, carbon masts and carbon booms wont last as long as oh an aluminum boom and any other type of mast that contains little or no carbon in it.

thanks, it's a fish-eye camera (Hero GoPro Wide), attached to my boom only 10 cm away from my hand (cam captures a 170º wide angle)
