yeah the color code works great. and the new speed code is cool too. it makes him slide realy fast when you let go of the analog stick which i like, plus with the 3x jump code it lets you jump from one end of the world to the other which is awesome.
but the only problem is that his actual running speed is still only at 2x. is it possible to make his running as fast as his slides?
Can't stop laughing!! Priceless... And it's not a circle because it's 'pixel-ated' meaning it's made if tiny squares. I know this because I edit pictures as some of you may have seen in one of my videos Super Mario 64 How to Edit Pictures with TT64
I notice the Thwomp's shadow decreases in size as the Thwomp rises from the ground, while Mario's doesn't... Oh! Is that normal behavior, or is it because your code has frozen the size?
Um also I wonder if you could turn the shadow sideways and replace the texture, to create much truer 2d character effects :o
The code would be much longer to have to write a mini program to check the controller and then increase/decrease the value as I did with the spawn code.
Excuse Me yoshielectron, but I can't seem to make a code that makes marios head bigger. Could you perhaps maybe make the code? Thanks, and Happy-1-day-later-Halloween!
Hmmm... Well I also need a code that turns bullet bill BHV into whomp BHV and the Bullet Box Spawns them. And if You cant make a code like that, then can you make a code that when mario ground pounds (when he immediatly hits the ground), he spin jump really high into the air.
thats what i meant sorry for the bad explanation shoulda put a juust between not and model anyways my idea is to make a code that actuly grows mario not only his model that would be cool
I burst out laughing when instead of saying blow your mind you said blow your brains out which I guess is kind of a bad thing to laugh at...

The big shadow's good for spying- Mario's never in the spotlight.

@yugiohrox3 There were others in the UK too such as Action Replay.

Hey, can you make it so you can change the color of the shadow?
LeeLaz2008 1 year ago
@LeeLaz2008 Sorry I don't know how to do that.

i need a code called no shadow
can you tell me the code?
MegaManX321 1 year ago
hey, is there a code to give mario black overals and hat with white shirt and shoes? or is there a color modifier? that would be awesome.
cilaboom 2 years ago
I can send you the code if you want?
yoshielectron 2 years ago
yeah please, that would be awesome.
cilaboom 2 years ago
The only problem is the hat, arms and shirt have to be all same colour.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
is there a way to make all his cloths black except keep his gloves and shoes their normal colors? that would be great.
cilaboom 2 years ago
I'll send you the code.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
thanks, i really appreciate it.
theres only one other thing i wanted to ask you. i have this code:
D033AFA1 0020
8133B1C4 4277
8833B248 0001
this is the one that lets you run twice as fast, slide, move through water without swiming and run up hills. all by holding the L button.
what i wanted to know was, is there a way to make it so he runs at 4x speed rather than just 2?
cilaboom 2 years ago
Did you get the colour code? That last line of the code above isn't need. Try:
D033AFA1 0020
8133B1C4 4300

cilaboom 2 years ago
I think the game maybe limiting the speed although according to the debug he's moving much faster.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
youre right, i seen a video of someone using a speed code and it worked fine for them. do you know what might be causing me the problem?
im use both the project64 and 1964 emulators and ive tried a bunch of different roms and its always the same thing.
cilaboom 2 years ago
Perhaps you could ask them what code they used?

Pixels are often rectangle.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
Yes but that's if 2 or more pixels are the same colour so it seems like that it's a square
Kenton1008 2 years ago
Either way a computer can't draw an exact circle and squares/rectangles are easier to render.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
okay thank you I get it now

I made a mistake in my spelling tom is actually to
1smcd1 2 years ago
i get it now so they scaled mario's shadow tom make it look more like a circle
1smcd1 2 years ago
No, the shadow is square but using transparency at the edges it looks circle.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
I agree with ghostlink2027.

i can see a lot of uses for this code, like something is about to crash into mario from above - say a comet or something.

Another interesting code, I should say.

how does a square become a shadow, i am getting really confused lol
1smcd1 2 years ago
The shadow is just a transparency mask.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
The circular shadows are square?
O_o
Although...yeah, that does make a lot of sense.

yeah.
BlittleMcNilsen 2 years ago
Hmm... this would be funny to see in a Machinima also, would be useful to make it look like something large is about to fall on Mario.
Luigi4evermarionever 2 years ago
combine it with the big size code and you could actually make a real giant mario!! i just thought of that
Joemamma69000 2 years ago
watch 1:16 - 1:20 toad is transparent :P

DaeOh 2 years ago
It happens to Mario's shadow as well, perhaps you didn't notice it as much because of it being bigger.
From what I know the shadow is a transparency mask so it's not actually a texture.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
Have you heard of cheat engine?
If you have, what number should I put?
mariofan437 2 years ago
Sorry I have not used that.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
Very nice, I didn't even think modifying the shadow size was an option for you xD
LieutenantSpaz 2 years ago
How come you always use presets mapped to the D-pad instead of having it increment or decrement the memory value?
velocity37 2 years ago
The code would be much longer to have to write a mini program to check the controller and then increase/decrease the value as I did with the spawn code.

Excuse Me yoshielectron, but I can't seem to make a code that makes marios head bigger. Could you perhaps maybe make the code? Thanks, and Happy-1-day-later-Halloween!
pab2000k 2 years ago
There is no size modifier for Mario's head although one could be put in by modifying the ROM.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
Hmmm... Well I also need a code that turns bullet bill BHV into whomp BHV and the Bullet Box Spawns them. And if You cant make a code like that, then can you make a code that when mario ground pounds (when he immediatly hits the ground), he spin jump really high into the air.
pab2000k 2 years ago
Do you mean give Bullet Bill the Whomp behaviour?
yoshielectron 2 years ago
o no the new shadow mario has come
vampirekoopa 2 years ago
Yes. Oh, By the way, when I used your "Play as Koopa the Quick", I was Slightly smaller than the normal one.
Could you fix that too?
pab2000k 2 years ago
That shouldn't be a problem.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
Thank you, and Happy Halloween!
(I don't think in UK it's halloween yet, because I live in Long Island, NY.)
pab2000k 2 years ago
Also, How long will the code take?
pab2000k 2 years ago
You could use a Mario Size Modifier for that. I'm pretty sure there's a code for it somewhere- if not, you could patch the ROM I suppose.
chaotictails 2 years ago
I tried that, and it didn't work, but great advice though!
pab2000k 2 years ago
is there some way to grow the mario object and not model?
Neoomegasonic 2 years ago
I'm not sure what you mean since if you change the size of the Mario object it will change the size of the Mario model.
yoshielectron 2 years ago
I think he means the actuall colision thing (touching objects n stuff)
more realistic big mario I gess
