  • Very cool!!! I wish we still had the A300's in Portland, but we get the MD-10-30F's and the occasional 727-200F (both of which I still enjoy seeing).

  • ooooo.....AWESOME ...is that the tire screech i hear!!?

  • it sure is. Right as the plane touches down, you can hear the tires screech then the sound of the tires rolling along the concrete. Its the same sound a car's tires make when crossing some bridges.

  • @6V92TA Yes thats a grooved runway..its grooved from side to side.

  • just awesome!

  • I work for FedEx in Honduras, we don't have a plane such like that one, how many pounds does a B727 carries?

  • around a 60,000 pound payload can be loaded onto a Fed Ex 727-200F.

  • Boston Ramp is the best ramp at fedex

  • Greetings from the Ramp in Memphis. How many pieces does your market normally do?

  • i forgot how many pallets we get. i talked to a pilot and he said the A300 from Memphis regularly comes in with around 110,000 pounds of cargo on it. The one from Indy normally comes in half loaded.

  • Why arent there any 747s around CLE? is the airport too small to land those things or what?

  • oh we can handle them...jus not fully loaded. Atlas Cargo brought two 747s in to take out the stuff used for the Lion King play a few months back. Ernest Ensley has a 747SP he flies into CLE for customs when he comes back from over seas and such.

  • But Right now Ernest Ensley's 747 Is parked on a taxiway at CAK

  • He's based outta CAK but flies to CLE when he leaves the US for customs.

  • u film this at KCLE?

  • yes sir!
