jus ignore ur parents nd wen u start ur own life lyk payin ur own bills den wear the hijab cz every gil dt wears the hijab luks beautiful (mashallah) in it nd im sure u will nd trust me ul succeed more dn ur parents in the end take care xx
I cover my hair, but if I start wearing th hijab my mom and sibling will start eyeing me like " who in the world does she think she is"? but inshallah I will when I start paying my own bills.
Allah says to obey your parents in everything except if they ask you to defy your religion, thats when Allah does not hold you accountable. If your parents forbid you from wearing the scarf, try to convince them about your decision, and talk to them about the situation. Allah will not judge you if you wear it and your parents are mad, thats just something they must learn to accept! Talk to them, and pray so that Allah can make them see your point, inshallah if you do that they will be convinced!

Im jewish but i really love hijab. I just started a new job and i decided that i didnt want all the men staring at me and to know me for my abilities instead so now i wear it jewish style - tied at the back and with an underscarf but when i go outside i put on a longer scarf over the top - hijab style - i think it looks beautifull and i can be confident when i walk down the street.I think all women should wear hijab no matter what their religion.
I agree! I'm not Muslim, Jewish, or Christian, but I'm considering wearing a head covering. I'm wearing Islamic style clothing for my wedding this June, complete with Al-Amira Hijab and longer scarf. I think it's just beautiful.
i'm not into wrapping and pinning and tugging and shifting on my hijab all day anymore i just wear the long "Somali-style" i just pop it on and stays and dont have to worry about it.and it hides my purse!
It's the jilbab you're referring to right? Or the "umbrella hijabs" as some call it. I love that style, and I can see why you would call it the Somali style, because most of the sister that wear it London are Somali. I love it myself.
hahaha what a huge coincidence, my friend wore the exact same style yesterday but she couldnt show me how to do it at the time... your vid did. Thanks!
May Allah reward you for your intentions to teach the sisters to cover, Ameen. One question, why the use of music? Quranic Recitation would have made this tutorial a 10 w/o the music.
Mashallah! This is a great video. Also, I love your hijabi fashion blog, it's seriously been a big help to me -- combining cute & modest is hard for some people (aka me). You are sooo awesome!
I would suggest Turkey/ Istanbul. It is really a great market for colourful and ALL types of scarfs. I know it is too far. May be they sell online too.
thanks alot for sharing! this is useful :)

Wew...
the Islamic girl (in my country indonesia) refuse to wear it beacuse they think it's old fashion.
But you wear that because you think that beautiful.
In my opinion, The God has opened your eyes. Just wait for the next hidayah.
