Hey everybody who has never played baseball before. You know how hard it is to a hit a baseball, well FYI it is the hardest thing to do in sports and you have less then a second to react to a fast or breaking pitch. It takes people years to learn how to read that kind of pitching. So don't say that he used a cork bat or they used steroids because they really don't help that much, but I don't think they should be used either.

If you want real professionalism, look at a guy like Ken Griffey Jr., who never resorted to steroids despite all of his injuries. His career has been totally overshadowed by these cheating scumbags, and that's a real shame.

That's exactly my point. Players AREN'T supposed to look like bodybuilders "over the course of a 162 game season." Runners or cyclists caught doping aren't supposed to run or cycle so fast over the course of really long races. Yes, Sosa might have still hit a few long home runs without steroids, but that isn't the point! He would never have hit 60+ a season without roids - THAT'S the point.

Steroid use is dangerous, illegal, and violates the integrity of the sport. PERIOD.

@AboveAllNations steroids don't help you see the ball and help you hit homeruns, it doesn't even build muscle, steriods make it so that you are not tired when you work out so you can work out longer, yes players should not use them, but the fact is that all these players who have used steriods, they are not really "performance enhancing" they don't enhance ones eyesight to be able to see pitches better or enhance hand-eye coordination, which is a huge misconception about roids.
