No they are not hard to take off. They come off just like any other eyeshadow that i've used.

Hehe! I just did a tutorial for SUCH a similar look. I haven't put it together yet though. Mine's more understated...not as bright with a little black added in. But still while, gold, and pink. We're both geniuses :D
