  • Nothing new, but still interesting :) one day this will be real holographic and it will become just like turning on your new TV - nothing new, but still interesting :)

  • Where the hell are my jetpack and laser rifle already

  • the future is already here

  • Is that real? Back in the CRT monitor days?

  • fake

  • Türken sind die besten

  • The Turks are better than everyone OK?

  • Its Turkish, yay us turks are smart!

  • @timtams23 Who told you TURKS created it? Turks usually copy stuff.

  • help me Obi Wan Kenobi, You're my only hope. bip

  • good technology recorded by a potato

  • I seen this video 10 times probably, and I just realized it's in Turkish

  • if you touch the globe it will chop the end of your finger off!

  • Nice comments guys :P, But I believe this is some sort of LED/wire that is spinning at a high speed in a orb shape causing it to look like a globe to the typical human eye. You can see the base structure in the center that the wire is attached to. EX: A fan with LED lights attached to it spinning, could create a picture or animation. Why did I just spend 45 seconds typing this out like I'm some sort of smart-ass. Hrmm

  • "Obi-van...please help!" lol

  • Do you think I can make my balls turn and shine like this ?

  • DO WANT!

  • beat that, halogen!

  • can u expand it just like how iron man do it? jk

  • its turkish..

  • We meet again 240p...

  • if i ever get rich im buying a huge one of these for a shopping mall

  • should read: THE WORLD IS YOURS, CHICO

  • Cool, you could use this tech to do holo conferences or for medical real time surgery w embedded avatar surgeons in remote locations to beam in.

  • c4d

  • It's cool, but a fucking waste of energy and time. If there was a practical use for this concept then it would make sense, but it shows less information than the normal globes. I am all 'for' cool and innovative technology, its stuff like this which is absolutely pointless when the effort could be put in to something a lot more constructive. Its like mp3 players, all designed around the iPod, rather than copying Apple and fighting a lost war just be original and do your own thing.

  • @FlexxArtist i agree, this thing is useless until we can figure out how to download free internet porn and cat videos on it

  • @lordyam Cats and porn? Wanna be friends?

  • @FlexxArtist Doesnt all tec start like this as a gimmick just to let you know whats out there and let you IMAGINE what it can be used for? dont be so cynical dude take it for what it is! bet you would have loved it in your bed room as a kid!

  • @leearnold40 I'm not by any means saying this technology is shit, the actual product itself (led globe) is stupid, but the technology I do appreciate. The thing you said about great ideas coming from gimmicks like this, I do agree with however I think it can work both ways as a great technological leap could have taken place and then someone might have thought it would be cool to use this technology in a child's toy such as this globe.

  • @FlexxArtist Back then, people said the same thing when TV was first introduced. And computers too.

  • aferin sana , helal olsun ,

  • THIS IS LIKE STAR WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT THE WRITING IS IN TURKISH AND I'M TURKISH -- BTW It says "have a happy new year" :D

  • does anyone no where i can purchase this and the exact name of it ....i just gotta have one, thankyou.

  • Nice led effects

The multiplexing effects are a bit too slow

[since it would require too much power to put on all leds at once, you have to put on one layer at a time so fast so the camera/your eye picks it up as a full image. This is not required with small led cubes (such as 2x2x2). This is called multiplexing]

  • Nice motion program! I like to

  • I want to use that to create the deathstar!!

  • Comment removed

  • Seninde yeni yilin kutlu olsun

  • This is not a LED display you idiots! :D This is hologram.

  • Not exactly, ist's just a curved line of leds that spins and as it spins and the led turns on or off, it makes the ilusion you just saw. Its a simple idea but a complicated setup.

  • y el monitor!!!!! xDDD

  • I cant read anything on that site :[

  • WANT

  • Now make a hollow dancer..

  • It's propeller effect, just a very fast motor with leds and integrated circuits

  • can i buy this .... like now?

  • it is written on the globe "happy new year" in Turkish

  • Parece mas realidad aumentada... No hay donde se reflecte la luz.

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • How does it hide the content from you which is behind the globe? How does it know where you stay?

  • @AMYuntold Its spinning, Motor in the bottom, then a Curve with 1 row of LED's. Then because it knows how fast its spinning at it updates the LED's when needed to create this image. They also look much better in Real Life. That Flicker doesn't exist unless you use a cheap Video Camera. You can make one of these for about $50

  • wow.. wow.. thats a really ? aMAZING MAN :D

  • Star Trek, here we come!

  • .wow really hologram??

  • 240p we meet again :(

  • @theaggoser Guy that knows 240p we meet again...

  • Chuck Norris wouldnt fail !!

  • if only they had these on the market

  • HELAL :D

  • Der Globus dreht sich falsch rum :-)

  • please obi wan kenobi your my only hope

  • Are the leds in a semicircle? I think i see a pole in the middle. Id like recreate this

  • man thats the coolest thing ON EARTH. hah see wat i did there? huh anybody?

  • I like turtles

  • @mattkisko LMAO

  • Ok, would b slot better if we didn't have to look at your dirty ads desk along with the globe.

  • i made a paper boat!

  • Quick! Execute Order 66.

  • Now clean your room

  • Comment removed

  • @MANNNNNNNNNNEH One does not simply clean their room and make something awesome like this.

  • but will it blend?

  • Holographic projector, anyone?

  • @ChozoSR388 no its propeller display

  • shut up and take my money!

  • thats 4d

  • Were Can i get one! Please! and How much? Are they

    Programable?

  • I love the future

  • Ah.. Cutting edge technology, and behind... CRT box screen :/

  • @samzamorz dont forget the video being in 240p :/

  • @samzamorz this video was in 2006 you retard

  • @samzamorz which is still the best screen for graphics.

  • @samzamorz in case you didn't notice the video is from 2006.

  • this is how we all will watch television one day

  • ...these are not the droids you're looking for. lol

  • Star Wars

  • Is it loud?

  • 240p we meet again

    :l

  • what it is?

  • i wanna die in his room for sure!

  • "help me obi wan. you're my only hope."

  • güzel olmuş

  • csl display..

    wat country is dat!!!

  • @slyonme i think in Turkey because it have a turkish content on the Globe : "Yeni Yiliniz Kutlu olsun CLS display´i izlemektesiniz" which means : happy new year, your wathcing CLS display

  • stick your pee-pee in it for magical release

  • Tony starks in the making~~

  • pleasssssseeee tell where to get or even build something like this :)

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOW

  • Its a TRAP!

  • Someone give him money to support this technology D:

  • If you touch it, your fingers magically disappear and the globe turns red!

  • Any videos or pictures that show this device at rest so we can see how it is constructed?

  • Please every one who makes these fake videos, STOOOOOOOPPPP DOOIINGG THEEEEESE VIDEOS!!!!!!

  • @Jezuzcatt3h This is real.... it is actually a highspeed spinning bunch of LEDs....

  • @Jezuzcatt3h this is real. Its a pole in the middle with a bunch of LED's on a curved rod that goes from the top of the pole to the bottom. Some biology labs use them to model organs within a body/animal. Look up a spinning LED clock. Same principals apply here.

  • Put your hand through it.

  • Half life labs ? No it is just at somebody's home

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck so cool

  • man i wiill pay top dollars for that

  • Do want.

  • 0:10 and on, it doesn't look like our earth any more

  • @Bananaluver3 the colors invert. the white becomes the ocean and the black the land. it's still the earth. did you look at it for more than a second?

  • It turns the wrong way ;)

  • He's a witch! burn him!!! lol

  • looks like a hologram

  • Brookstone

  • abi nasil yaptin ? tbrkler

  • Türkçe la bu..

  • that is way more than 32 LEDs.

  • Fake!!!

  • Where can I get one? Someone give me a link please!

  • wow loks like a hologram in sci fi movies

  • The image projected should've been the Deathstar...it's only normal.

  • I WANT ONE !!!

  • how?

  • @hanfstudio I'm pretty sure I've seen this technology before. There's a handful of LEDs attached to one or two curved pieces of plastic, attached to the central column. The column spins at some insane speed, so that you can't see the plastic, just the light. Your brain sees the same 288 LEDs at every possible location where they should be ON, thanks to the speed of the rotation and blinking... I think... The uploader should show us what it looks like stopped and explain it correctly :p

  • @ObsidianG yeah that's exactly it. I've got a caller id globe thing that does this, but it just projects the message, no spinning globe. His is much nicer.

  • HASSİKTİR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME!

  • TOUCH IT XD

  • @danniornsmarason Do you realise how fast that thing is spinning? it woul chop off fingers

  • @plutopianation yay i got top commnet my life is complete and that was the whole mening of my comment

  • star wars style O_O

  • okay. now where the fuck are my anti gravity boots and spartan armor..? HUH?!

  • Is it a POV??

  • @malshanp its hard to explain. pov: persistence of vision. Basically it is a sequence of lights moving in a specific, programed pattern wich your brain sees as an image. this model in the video is extreamley complex, but look at some other stuff about pov. Its pretty damb cool. : D

  • 60fps tv and movies is the next step- ask James Cameron

  • Bu videoyu taa vakti zamaninda izleyipte sonradan gelip yaziya dikkat eden var mi yahu... :)

  • wtf - is this real? I dont think so :) would have been used in homes for tv and such if it was. ohh well another thing to ponder.

  • Cool! I want one.. =)

  • UNIVERSAL STUDIOS... (and a plane flying around the equator)

It'd be cool if you can program it to display things like tectonic plates shifting to and from Pangaea and today's layout.

  • i dare you to put ur hand in there...

  • wow that computer is ancient. good job with the LEDs though I'm impressed you pulled it off with that old technology

  • Gee, Brain, what do you want to do tonight? The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world!

  • and besides it you have a woden box that you cal a computer?

  • i love it :D

  • Course this is real... Its basically a fan with LED lights that are all programmed to flash on percisely the right moment to form a picture, Even moving pictures with more programming, But i call it the early holograms.

  • ahh yes 2040 technology recorded with 1990 camera

  • @MrThatsYe uploaded in 2006 you dumb cunt

  • its not real, but soon will be! like in 15 years! we probably have it but the price of producing it is to why!

  • Of course its not real... there's no light bouncing on the objects nearby, also if that lights was real, there's should be some illumination in the room, room keeps dark all the time...

  • After FX camera track...

  • it's real !!

  • güzel çalışma, harcanan emeklere değmiş. tebrikler

  • Wow he needs to clean his room

  • the world is mine.
