What is it with Dimitri and the 80s? Why take the 70s stuff and add an 80s twist? Removing the lush, organic, thick, symphonic, orchestral sound, the real Earl Young drums, and leaving it "cheaper", more 80s, more "flat mono sound", more "freak"! More.. funk, trumpets/horns! I get that Larry Levan-feeling. Not classical enough to my taste! However, Dimitri is a music friend of mine, and lots in this edit is great, just those details.... Grrr! And they are in so many of his "hyped edits"!
