As for Nibelim you fight her the same way as symphonia's abssion collect all the weapons associated with the quest then enter Nibelims Crag to fight her.

However the flight stone via Mt Roneal + Mieu Fire 2 is required to fight her as well.

However its not the damage of Brilliant Overlord that sucks since it does great damage it actually getting the required weapon to equip to use it in the first place.

As in the game would only allow Luke's father to give Guy the required weapon as soon as I saved at the very last save point in the final dungeon.

So at that time you have very few boss's to actually use it on.

TBC: Fortune Ark have all of Tears songs Revitalize Holy Song Force Field Nightmare Grand Cross and Judgment all at 50x uses then trigger Judgment.

Guy: complete the treasure sword subquest then equip the sword you get from Luke's manor but use Final Cross x150 or so uses but Guy must be down to his last 25% HP to use his 2nd playthrough hi ougi.

But its useless the weapon to use it its only gained once the final dungeon can be entered.

@Veghesther You only need to be at < 50% HP to use Brilliant Overlord. And it's actually really good because it can be used repeatedly in a single battle unlike other second playthrough hi-ougis.

As for learning new ones must beat the game first since the game does have 2nd playthrough only hi ougis.

Jade Thunder Blade x200 uses then hold down the button thats used to trigger Overlimits mode until Indignation triggers.

Fever Time: use Lucky for Anise x150 times then use Lucky in Overlimits mode (costs 20,000 gald) to use it and limited to once per battle. Hold down attack button during Final Fury to use a extension of it.

@DerpBox It's kinda worth it in the end. If you manage to beat her, you get the Blue Dice which increases the amount of GRADE from each battle. Also if you beat her on Very Hard or Unknown, you can get one of Luke's best titles.

I have a quick question and so far, no ones been able to answer it. I'm on my... 5th playthrough I believe and I can't use any of the second mystic artes. I know HOW to use each and everyone one of them but for example, when I got Anise's lucky up to 200+ uses, I couldn't use Fever Time even though I had more than 20,000 gald. It's the same for all of them. Does anyone else have this problem?

@aaronsings007 Here's what I've heard. There's a system save file for Abyss that, among other things, records whether you've beaten the game. If you've lost or deleted that file, the sound test option won't be on the main menu and you won't be able to use the bonus Mystic Artes. You'll have to beat the game again even if you have New Game + saves.

@Klibble2212 actually they are useing tales chars. from multiple games and the order of them are: Mint Adnade from ToP, i dont know that one, i forgot his name but he's in ToE, Nanaly Fletch from ToD2, and the last one is Philia Phillis from ToD. and the only other game from the Tales series for Ps2 is Tales of Legendia

@pokespritemaker3 that would be the Collesium battle, which is in the city with Lanvaldear captial, unlocked at a certain point in the game. Beating the enemy team yields a great reward. All of the enemies in the fight are characters from other Tales games.

I'm pretty sure you almsot can't win this fight on your first playthrough. I have played through the game 3 times, and never been able to beat them the first time through. Earlies I have beat them is party lvl at 40+
