@jay733 Yes you can as long as you're are consistently resistance-training with adequate loads, & taking in enough calories (slight surplus), & enough quality protein: about 1 gram per lb of body weight, per day.
@jay733 You don't lose muscle from losing fat. You do, however, burn muscle if you burn too many calories since you body thinks you are starving and it will consume some muscle along with fat.
In the military ( coast guard at least) they just began a new weight program not to long ago. Part of this policy is if you do not make your proper weight given to you ( determined by wrist size and height) than you get "taped". Which means someone who is absolutely not qualified to do so measures your neck and waist. then subtracts the neck measurement from waist and depending on your height they look on a chart and get your bf %. To me this is ridiculous and completely not accurate
is it possible to have no abs and 5 percent body fat? i use an electronic device and wear 30 x 32 pants.

Can you still build muscle at that low of a body percentage if you work out heavy? Or what percentage is it when you worry about muscle loss?
