Good fuckin job - I dig it! You probably already know this and just decided to do it that way... but if you play your first e chord as a power chord with your index finger on the A string/7th fret... it would sound deadly if one of you played the E that way while the other played the usual... just some food for thought if you were hungry... Great job!
