Long after this episode aired, when I saw this next time preview after watching "Family of Blood," I immediately went to watch "Blink". And an hour later, my jaw dropped.

I think the music is what really makes those angels have presence. That little almost squeaky noise you hear, those high pitched noises--so unsettling.

I watched this episode like last year, at 2am, with strange noises in my house, in fullscreen, with headphones to have a better sound, and I was so scared! before this episode, I saw the preview, I didn't blink during the whole 25 seconds; now, this episode is my favorite Doctor who episode.

Possibly my favorite episode of Dr. Who. I love the way it was written and the altogether feel of it. I was biting my nails half of the time and I was constantly fidgeting (things I tend to do when I get anxious).

@baggedyman They turn to stone when YOU WATCH them. The Doctor say they are quantum locked. It seems to be a reference to quantum physics : the fact that observation is likely to influence the state of the things you observe. It is very true when looking at particules, you can't observe an atome/particule without inducing it's state to change.

You made your comment four weeks ago so you probably saw it by now. If you haven't I'd just like to say you won't enjoy it much. The reason this episode is awesome is because nobody had a clue what the hell the deal was with the Weeping Angels. Now you know how their bodies work there won't be much tension.
