Her glasses are just props, most of the time they don't even have lenses in them. When a girl who really needs glasses turns her face to the side, there will be a distortion where the corrective lens curves. The worse the eyesight, the bigger the distortion. Ami's face is always perfectly smooth no matter how she turns her face. I didn't really notice it until I watched this slideshow. Kind of takes the cuteness out of it for me, knowing she's faking it.
