This, and Super Mario RPG, are still two of my favorite games of all time. These two RPGs were the first RPGs I ever played and they got me hooked. They had great stories, awesome characters, and just loads of fun to play. Been almost twenty years and this game still holds onto it's #1 spot for me.

Dave is probably to hardcore to care about this, but for everyone else: At the room you wake up in, there is a set of drawers on fire. You can check those drawers for a permanent stat up item if memory serves me right (been 10 years since I played this)

Anyway, that intro kicked ass on so many levels.

Another game made by the greats at SquareEnix. This is the first Breath of Fire isn't it? I didn't know that Capcom originally made this but eventually Square got their hands on it.
