  • Hi, I assume the answer is yes, but are these rather loud instruments? I'd like to get one, but I live in an apartment and concerned about the noise factor bother neighbors. Thx, Nice playing :-)

  • @jgk381 Sorry for the late reply; the xaphoon can actually be a pretty quiet instrument once you get it under control. I'd say it probably has the same volume range as a clarinet. When I first started it either made no noise at all, or just a terribly loud honking noise, so when starting out you might make a racket, but it'll smooth out with practice :)
