I live in Cedar Rapids and wish everyone would stop comparing us to Katrina. Luckily for us, it was nothing like Katrina. But keep in mind we had some time to prepare for this flood. We were able to call for help and have enough security in advance. Even with all the security some people's houses with the white flags still got looted. As far as katrina goes, they didn't have any warning for what was coming to them and we can't say they are all bad people cuz a few assholes looted.

New Orleans definitely was handled very badly... very very badly. But all the gangs or people who were shooting at the rescue helicopters and emergency personnel didn't help matters.
