aaw this movie was very beautiful physically. The story was a bit sloppy and didn't really explain the characters fully. Rani's character to me was the only one that made sense. and her performance was powerful, so was Ranbir! He really knows how to make the character his own!So overall watch the movie cause the setting and costumes are gorgeous and you'll enjoy Ranbir and Rani's performance!

I'm tired of people comparing it to Moulin Rouge. The only thing that they have in common is that they're both musicals. For example, Sakina doesn't love Raj back. I'm sure you could name so many more. I have to admitt this movie did disappoint me but I guess it goes to show that not all love is true :(

I did expect more from Sanjay after seeing Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas but the scenes were beautiful.

It was such a beautiful movie visually. But thats it. The story and the characters were dull, I was expecting so much from the guy who made Black. Anyways, it still owns 99% of indian movies.

The trailers of this movie were magnificent. Infact they were so engrossing that despite the bad reviews i went to watch it. But the movie was not good at all. Very bad. But the soundtrack is a classic!

the movie is quite good with nice songs,but i h8d the ending. i mean,that guy,sanjay leela whatever,he makes really good movies,its just that he spoils the endings,like hum dil de chuke sanam,devdas has a really sad ending,and so does saawariya. he should have got ranbir kapoor with rani mukherjee at the end,i could have thought up a better ending,lol. if the ending's sad,it turns out to be a depressing and pointless movie,coz after everything that happened,he didn't get her in the ending

the trailer was pretty cool looking, but the actual movie was pretty boring. they wore the same clothes the whole time and the setting never changed. it was pretty much your basic boy meeets girl, boy loves girl, and the wait to see whether boy gets girl or not. it was nice to see some fresh faces, but other than that it was a snoozefest.

I'll see it just for the visuals! I can't get over the shot at 1:30, it is so beautiful in it's scope and richness. Plus I love how the music swells at just the right moment. The whole thing seems slightly reminiscent of Moulin Rouge, in terms of style anyway. Can't wait! :)

It does!! I saw it soon as it came out only because it seemed soo...artistic and beautiful...And it has that air of fantasy...I'll say that I WAS slightly disappointed with the visuals at some of the places...Won't ruin it for you though. Watch it when you can! :)
