For those who don't know.... 3DS is region locked. Meaning you need a Japanese 3DS to play Japanese 3DS games.

I was linked because we were on a ~*~SUPER SECRET MAGICAL HACKER NETWORK~*~ called IRC and we were all agreeing how shit the 3ds was. And yeah, I pretty much hate nintendo because all of their games are rehashes and the same goddamn thing every game. I bought a 3DS on launch, played it, thought it sucked, then sold it. End of story.

Nintendo made the damn thing have Region protection.

Look at our games, pretty much all Nintendo (which i dont mind) or Random 3rd party games designed for children.

@yamitech Region lock isn't something something to drop a system for, but I for one agree that is was a stupid move. I'm happy with my Wii, 3DS, PS3, and Xbox 360 and I don't have any issues with them. (besides that Sony is cheap) I just don't get why people are saying 'OH PS3 IS BETTER DEN TEH WEEEEEE, ITS FO CHIDERN TEEHEE' or 'GROW UP AND BUY A VETA' just because they think PS3 is better or that the Vita will be better. (Microsoft fanboys usually don't pick on Nintendo fanboys)

DS was region free. Now they had to troll us with this. The 3DS isn't region free unlike its counter part. I hate it when certain games don't come to other regions, not just America but all regions. They would make more money if they were released in all other regions, especially Nintendo, Hardly anyone picks up the wii cause they have shit games that no other gamer would want. Like through all the years in America i think 25 Wii games were worth buying, PS3 & 360's games have over hundreds.

To be fair, When Earthbound came out in the US.. RPG was a pretty niche market at that time, it took a game like FF7 to give it a boost it needed but sadly the market for RPGs and JRPGs here in the US are now back to what it was in the '80s and '90s
